Grand Vista Hanoi（グランド ヴィスタ ハノイ）を選んだのは、立地と口コミの良さです。初めてのハノイ滞在でしたので、観光スポットから比較的近く、空港へのアクセスも良い大型ホテルを探していました。フライト後のベトナム初日に滞在するホテルでしたので、シャワーとバスタブがセパレートのバスルームでしっかりと疲れを取りたいという思いもあり、こちらのホテルに宿泊を決めました。

デラックス キングのお部屋は？
客室奥には床から天井までの高さのある大きな窓がありました。16階のお部屋で、周りには高い建物も多くないため、周辺の街並みを見渡すことができました。残念ながら滞在時は曇っていたため、遠くの方まではクリアには見えませんでしたが、晴天であればより素敵な眺望を楽しめるのではないかと思います。

バスルーム
バスルームにはバスタブとシャワーブースがセパレートであり、広々としていました。バスルーム入って右手にバスタブ、正面に洗面台、左手にシャワールームとトイレがありました。水回りの掃除も行き届いており、気持ちよく使用することができました。
洗面台の上には、シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープに加えて、ソープや歯ブラシ、シェービングキットなど基本的なものは全て揃っていました。良質なものが用意されているため、安心して使用できるのではないかと思います。私はそこまでこだわりがないので、アメニティについては十分に満足でした。

4階にはレストラン「Deli」がありました。今回は利用していないのですが、朝食会場にもなっていて、ビュッフェスタイルの朝食をいただけるようです。ランチ・ディナーでも利用できるようです。1階にはロビーラウンジとMラウンジもあるようです。

ホテル周辺環境
ホテル周辺は騒々しいこともなく、かと言って不便なこともなく、適度な環境だったように思います。市内中心部からもそれほど遠くないエリアですので治安も良好ですし、カフェや簡単な食事をいただける場所は近くに多くあるように思います。5分ほど歩いた場所に大きな湖があるため、その辺りは景観も開けており、非常にオススメです。ローカルの市場やおしゃれなカフェなどが混在しており、見ていて飽きない環境でした。

スタッフ＆客層
ホテルのスタッフはとても愛想がよく、ホテルに入った瞬間から笑顔で出迎えてくれました。日本同様におもてなしの心が非常にある国だと思うので、多くの日本人にとって居心地が良い環境なのではないかと思います。日本人スタッフは恐らくいらっしゃらないので、日本語は通じません。皆さんベトナム人スタッフかと思いますので、ベトナム語と英語のみが通じる環境かと思います。しかし、そこまで不便を感じることはありませんでした。
年末の観光シーズンということもあり、客層はカップルやファミリーが中心だったように思います。各部屋が割とゆとりのある大きな造りですので、一人旅やバックパッカーのような方には向かないかもしれません。

アクセス
空港からはタクシーで30~40分程度でしたので、そこそこの距離がありますが、ハノイの中心部からはタクシーで10分程度ですので、非常に便利な環境です。疲れたら一旦ホテルに戻るような使い方もできます。ホテル周辺にはカフェや飲食店は多くあり、十分に便利な環境であると感じましたが、大型商業施設などは近くにはないため、中心部へアクセスする必要があります。治安についてはホテル周辺のみならず、ハノイ全体として良いのではないかと思います。

まとめ
こちらのホテルに泊まって良かったと思います。初めてのベトナム滞在で、フライト直後の1泊目ということから、大型の広々としたホテルを探していたのですが、その条件にピッタリ合うホテルでした。スタッフの対応も良かったですし、掃除も行き届いていました。重厚感のある建物やインテリアも気に入りました。アクセスや治安も良いので、快適に安心して滞在することができました。ベトナム全体に共通して言えることですが、物価が安いため、非常に良質なホテルに日本よりも安価で滞在することができたと思います。今回の滞在で場所や雰囲気もよく理解することができたため、次回ハノイに滞在する機会があれば、選択肢の一つとして改めて検討したいと思っています。
