「The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest」を選んだのは、ブタペストに行ったら必ずリッツカールトンに宿泊したいと数年前より思っていたからです。リッツカールトンには日本を含め他のエリアでも宿泊したことがありますが、毎回素敵な時間を過ごせること、リッツカールトンの高級感がとても好きだからです。また立地も良く、ブタペストの中心地にあり、朝食や軽食、夕方のカクテルタイムも利用できるクラブラウンジも利用したかったため、こちらのホテルに宿泊を決めました。

クラブ バルコニー ルームは？
お部屋は36㎡とそこまで広くはないものの、天井が高く広く感じました。また、客室奥にはバルコニーがあり、窓が大きく明るいため開放感がありました。高級感があり洗練されたお部屋で、インテリアなどの細部にもこだわりを感じ、華やかながらも落ち着いた雰囲気の癒される空間で、さすがリッツカールトン！と思う素敵なお部屋でした。

バスルーム
バスルームは少し古さは感じましたが、バスタブ付きでシャワーと独立していました。ただ、トイレ、洗面台、シャワーとバスタブが全て同一空間にあるので、複数人で宿泊すると少し不便に感じるかもしれません。
シャワールームにはレインシャワーと取り外し可能なハンドシャワーの2種類がありました。水圧は通常より少し弱いかなとは思いましたが、お湯の温度はかなり熱くなり、排水溝の流れもスムーズで快適でした。
シャワールーム内には、Diptyqueのシャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディーソープが用意されていました。アプリコットベースの甘めの良い香りでとても泡立ちもよく、しっとりしていました。
洗面台の上には、石鹸、Diptyqueのハンド＆ボディーローション、歯ブラシセット、マウスウォッシュ、ヘアコーム、バニティキットが用意されていました。アメニティーは毎日補充してくださり、とても快適でした。

アイロン、アイロン台も収納されていましたが、今回のクラブラウンジアクセス権付きのお部屋の特典として、1泊2枚まで無料でアイロンのサービスがあり、ワンピースを依頼したところ20分後には綺麗な状態で戻ってきました。

ミニバー・カフェ
カフェコーナーには、KRUPSのカプセル式コーヒーマシンがあり、コーヒーカプセルも6つありましたが、クラブラウンジでコーヒーやエスプレッソ、ラテを飲むことができ、テイクアウト用にも準備してくれるのでほとんど利用しませんでした。コーヒーのほかにもティーバッグ、お水のボトルもありました。

ホテル内の施設
クラブフロアのある8階スパ内に屋内プールもあります。客室数200室ほどと大きめのホテルではありますが、プールはこじんまりとしており少し残念でした。しかし、プールの隣りには3～4人が入れるほどのジャグジーもあり、泳いだ後に身体を温めることができて良かったです。スパの中にはサウナもありました。

ホテル周辺環境
ホテル周辺には観光地がたくさんあり、時間が足りませんでした。徒歩圏内で行ける素敵なレストランやルーフトップバー、カフェもありました。治安も良く、恐怖を感じることはありませんでした。セーチェニー鎖橋、ブダ城、マーチャーシュ教会、三位一体広場、漁夫の砦、ゲッレールトの丘などたくさんの観光地がありますが、一つ一つがそこまで遠くないので、短い滞在でも楽しめてとても良かったです。

スタッフ＆客層
スタッフはとても親切で対応も早く、ホスピタリティに溢れる対応でした。ウェルカムドリンクやウエルカムギフトでスイーツをいただいたり、今回初めてブタペストを訪れたため、オススメの観光があるのか尋ねると、ブタペストでやるべき24のことをまとめてくださり、さすがリッツカールトンの対応でした。日本語は通じませんが、すべて英語で対応していただけるため、困ることはありませんでした。英語以外にはルーマニア語、ドイツ語、ロシア語、イタリア語、フランス語、ポルトガル語、ハンガリー語、スペイン語が対応しているとのことでした。
色んな客層がいらっしゃいました。時期が7月ということもあり、サマーバケーションで家族で旅行に来られている方も多かったです。クラブラウンジやプールでも小さなお子様がいらっしゃる家族が多かったと思います。

アクセス
初めてブダペストを訪れましたが、空港からのアクセスはとてもシンプルで、公共バスを利用しました。空港バス100Eは、空港からブダペスト市内まで直通で運行していて、空港から1本で最終地まで約45分ほどで到着しました。バス停はホテルから徒歩3～4分のところにあり、バス停を降りるとすぐリッツカールトンのロゴが見えたので、迷子になることなく到着できました。ブダペストは地下鉄、トラム、バス、トロリーバスの路線が網羅されていて、とても移動しやすい街でした。私は今回観光をたくさんしたかったため、公共交通機関の時間券を購入しました。日本人が旅行する際に検討する選択肢として、おそらく24時間券もしくは72時間券が便利でお得かと思います。今回私も72時間券を購入しました。リッツカールトンはもともと中心地にあるので、バスも沢山あり、かつ公共機関に乗り放題なので、とてもアクセスは楽でした！

まとめ
こちらに宿泊してとても良かったです。まず、空港からのアクセスがバス1本で、バス停からも徒歩数分の好立地であることです。また、滞在中の移動に関しても地下鉄のDeák Ferenc駅からすぐで、どこに移動するにも便利でした。スタッフがとても親切で、ホスティングに溢れた対応が印象的でした。ホテルの施設も申し分ありませんし、お部屋は快適で水回りも問題なく、クラブラウンジでは6：00～22：00の間は朝食、ライトミール、カクテルタイム、デザートを楽しむこともできました。ホテルもとても良かったですが、ブタペストという都市がとても素敵でまた訪れたい都市になりました。ぜひブタペストに行かれた際にはクラシックで高級感のあるリッツカールトンをオススメします！
