"Tomoya Residence Hotel Kyoto" is a residence-type hotel located in a quiet location near the Kyoto Imperial Palace in the central area of Kyoto. The rooms are spacious luxury rooms with a minimum of 45 square meters and a maximum of 80 square meters. The suites are equipped with a kitchen, washing machine and a dryer, and are equipped with facilities for a convenient and comfortable stay. You can spend a relaxing time in a high-quality Japanese-style modern space.

The hotel is located in a quiet area just off the main street. It has a stylish Japanese-style modern appearance with a Kyoto style atmosphere.
The entrance approach was designed so that the building could not be seen from the outside.

What is the Twin Bed Suite with Kitchen like?
Guest room entrance door.
The entrance seen from the inside.
There was a shoe cabinet with slippers and a shoe horn prepared inside.
There was a toilet on the right, a walk-in closet on the left and the living room in the back. The bedroom was in a separate room at the back of the living room.
The living room is a spacious and calm space with a compact kitchen.
In the center of the living room was a large table, a large sofa around the table, a chair for one person and an ottoman.
There was a cabinet with a TV placed on top.

Humidifier
There was a shoji hiding the window.
Since the hotel is located in a residential area the view was only of a building next door, but it was nice to be able to step outside onto the veranda.
There was a bathroom and bedroom at the back.
Bedroom
There was a semi-double size bed which was spacious. The mattress was made by Simmons Co., Ltd., and I was able to sleep comfortably.
There was a light switch and an outlet on the headboard. There was also a phone and memo set in between the bed.
Alarm
There was a TV at the foot of the bed.
Dest dresser next to the TV.
There was a mirror if the bottom was lifted up. There was also an accessory box inside.

Bathroom
The bathtub, toilet and sink were all separate.
There were cups and hand towels on the sink. Bath amenities were triple C products, including face & hand soap and body lotion.
There were amenities prepared on the shelf.
Nightwear
Bath towels and face towels.
Amenities included toothbrush, razor, comb, cotton & cotton swab set, body towel, and bath salt. Bath salts are products of Kyoto Kusuriya that use natural materials.
Hair dryer
The bathroom was spacious with a washing area.
I was able to stretch my legs and relax in the bathtub.
There was a fixed rain shower and a removable hand shower. There was no problem with water pressure or temperature control.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were triple C products containing ingredients derived from green tea, and the faint aroma of green tea was refreshing.
The toilet was at the entrance.

Closet and Safe
There was a walk-in closet.
A washing machine and a dryer were installed in the closet. Detergent is also provided, which is very convenient for those staying for a consecutive nights.
Next to the washing machine was a space to hang clothes and a space to put luggage, and there was enough storage capacity.

Hotel Surroundings
The hotel is located on a street just off the intersection of Karasuma Dori and Oike Dori, and although it is in the central area of Kyoto, it is a quiet and calm environment. There are restaurants in the vicinity, and there is a convenience store nearby, so I think it’s a convenient environment for staying and not having trouble moving around or finding a place to eat. I was within walking distance to sightseeing spots such as the Kyoto Imperial Palace and Nijo Castle, and enjoyed the city of Kyoto.

Staff and Guests
The staff were polite and pleasant to interact with. Since it is not a big hotel, I did not meet other guests and I do not know the customer base, but since the room is large and the atmosphere is good, it seems that it can be used by a wide range of people such as families, couples and friends.

It is about a 7-minute walk from Karasuma Oike Subway Station and a 15-minute drive from Kyoto Station. Sightseeing spots are within walking distance, and since it is in the center of Kyoto, I think it is a good place to go anywhere.

Summary
I had a nice stay at the “Tomoya Residence Hotel Kyoto.” The rooms were large and equipped with all the necessary facilities, so I felt at home and relaxed. Especially, it was convenient to have a washing machine and a dryer in the room. The stylish Japanese-style modern room was functional, dimmable, easy to use and cozy to spend time in. The location where you can enjoy the city of Kyoto while taking a walk is also good, and I was able to spend a relaxing time at the hotel in a quiet cityscape. It is a hotel that I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.
