Hotel Surroundings

The hotel is located in a business district, so there were many office workers on the streets on weekdays, but it was quiet on weekends. There were convenience stores and drug stores nearby which was convenient. Also, it’s easy to access from both Kitahama Station of Sakaisuji Line and Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station, so it would be easy to go to Umeda, Shinsaibashi, Universal Studios and Kaiyukan. Kitahama Station Exit 6 is the closest exsit, but Exit 5 is a commercial facility called Kitahama Tower, and there is a supermarket, drugstore, restaurant and gym in the basement.

Staff and Guests

The staff were all very friendly and polite. The illustrations were drawn on the acrylic plate on the front, and the ink of the ballpoint pen for signing was purple.

Access

Since Kitahama Subway Station and Keihan Kitahama Station are connected underground, it is convenient to be able to move around without going out on a hot or cold day. There is an elevator at the nearest exit 6, so you can carry heavy luggage with you. Exit 5 has an escalator inside the Kitahama Tower. In addition, Sakaisuji Honmachi Station and Honmachi Station are connected underground, so it is convenient to move around. If you are going to Umeda or Namba, I think it’s close to Honmachi by walking the underpass from Honmachi. There are many restaurants that businessmen go to for lunch, so there are many choices for food. Sumitomo Mitsui Bank Osaka Central Branch on Kitahama, Resona Bank Osaka Head Office on the south side of the hotel, and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank Kawaramachi Branch across from the hotel, I thought it was truly a financial district.

Summary

The guest room corridors was like those at a school and the fork and soup made of aluminum was interesting because it fit the playful concept of MOXY. However, since it is a Marriott group, Simmons’s bed, Corona’s new business style is in line with the Marriott group, and it is well protected. In the evening, the staff turned into DJs, playing their favorite music and turned the lobby into a music bar. I can imagine many foreign tourists enjoying them selves here while drinking sake.
