Detailed review & photos “Hotel Monterey Osaka”

The hotel was a Western style building.

The entrance was not very big.

The lobby was on the 8th floor. There were Western style furnitures and beautiful flowers displayed on the table which were stylish.

There was a security door between the elevator hall and the guest room corridor. You will need your room key in order to get passed the door.

There was a bathroom at the entrance.

The Western style room was calm and relaxing. It was not a big room, but there was an outlet at the bedside and Wi-Fi was fully equipped. It was a comfortable room to spend time in.

The Simmons pocket coil mattress was comfortable to sleep on. The blanket was also warm and soft.

The pillows were neither too high nor too low, and the hardness was just right. Separate type pajamas were also prepared on the bed.

There was a phone between the two beds.

There was a TV and a mirror across the bed.

The TV was a little small for the size of the room.

There was also a desk at the back of the room.

Bottles of water were prepared on the desk.

There was an armchair next to the desk.

There were three windows.

I stayed on the 12th floor, which was relatively high, but the view was not good because there were many high-rise buildings such as office buildings, hospitals, and other hotels around the hotel. When I opened the window, I could see the office building next door, so in order to get some privacy I had to close the curtains when I was in the room. If you stay in a room on a lower floor you shouldn’t expect any view.

The bathtub, toilet and sink were in the same room.

I was able to relax in the bathtub.

The shower was a removable hand shower, and the height could be adjusted in two places. There was no problem with water pressure, and hot water came out immediately.

There was shampoo, conditioner and body soap prepared by the shower.

In addition, there were toothbrush sets, cotton swabs and cotton sets, hair elastics, hairbrushes, and body sponges for each person. For consecutive nights you can add what you used.

There was a closet next to the bed.

There was plenty of space to hang clothes.

There was a clothes brush, shoehorn, slippers, laundry bag, etc. in the closet.

There was a cafe corner on the table next to the TV, with an electric kettle, two types of instant coffee, tea bags and sugar. At check-in, I was told that I didn’t leave cups and glasses to prevent infectious diseases. There was a paper cup on the front, and I was supposed to bring it by myself if necessary. I actually drank coffee, and it was delicious because it was from Doutor.

There was a fridge, but nothing was prepared inside.

Breakfast was served at the banquet hall. You can enjoy 50 kinds of dishes that combine Japanese and Western dishes. Food was served buffet style.

There was a wide range of guests including families, elderly couples and young couples. There were many families with small children, so I thought it was hotel popular with families.
