Detailed review & photos “Hotel Hankyu International”

Hotel Hankyu International is a hotel located in the commercial complex “Applause Tower”, about a 3-minute walk from the Chayamachi exit of Hankyu “Osaka Umeda Station.” It’s a 34-story skyscraper, so it was easy find. There is a parking lot, theater, restaurant, banquet hall, offices on the lower floors, and all guest rooms are located on the 26th and above.

After entering the Chayamachi Applause Tower and proceeding through the spacious atrium, there was a hotel entrance. The front desk is located on the 2nd floor.

This is the lobby on the 2nd floor. The purple carpet created a nice atmosphere.

There was a sitting area in the lobby. It was a very clean and stylish lobby.

There was a bathroom at the front, a closet on the left and the bedroom at the back.

Compared to the common areas (front desk, lobby, etc.), the room was a little outdated. Even in an old hotel, I think that the traditional atmosphere will bring out different goodness, but the furniture in this room has was old fashioned. The Luxury Moderate Double room was recently refurbished and I was wondering if I should book it. Obviously the photo looked better.

The bed was queen size so it was big enough. The mattress was very comfortable to sleep on. The blackout curtains could be opened and closed automatically, and I was able to sleep well. Also, since I was staying with a small child, I was able to rent a bed guard and set it up.

I was staying in a corner room, so I was able to enjoy a view of two different directions.

The view of the city seen from high above was very nice. However, I could not see any famous buildings on my side, so there may be a better view on the south side.

The marble bathroom was a luxurious and elegant. Although it was cleaned very well the room was still old.

The bathtub was a little narrow.

The shower was removable and the water pressure was just right.

There was a toilet right next to the bathtub.

Hotel’s original Hahoniko shampoo and body soap. Hahoniko is often seen at beauty salons, so I was impressed. In addition, all common items such as toothbrushes and disposable combs were prepared.

There was a closet right by the entrance.

An iron, ironing board, bathrobe and a deodorant spray was prepared inside.

Shoehorn, clothes brush, slippers, baggage rack, etc. were also in the closet.

There was a safe underneath the TV which can be opened and closed with a key.

There was also a cafe corner in the cabinet under the TV. Cups, glasses, coffee, etc. were prepared.

An electric kettle, teacup set and a tea bag for sencha were also prepared.

In the drawer of the desk, mini bottles such as whiskey and gin were prepared as a minibar (charged).

Alcohol such as beer, soft drinks, nuts, etc. were prepared as a minibar (charged) in the refrigerator.

The tower (Applause Tower) where the hotel is located had Starbucks, Hunting World, and some restaurants in the basement. I had the impression that there were many restaurants for business people in the same building, and I found the Starbucks convenient.

I had the impression that there were many couples in their 50s and 60s, but there were also businessmen and people with children. It is easily accessible from Umeda station and the customer service is excellent, so I think that various people will stay here.
