Hotel Surroundings

The area around the hotel was a little dirty, but the streets were lively and there were many places to eat. There were small shops unique to Thailand that are easy for locals and travelers to walk into. Food was very delicious. There was also a massage shop next to the hotel, which I went to when I was tired from shopping. It is very close and cheap.

Staff and Guests

The staff were very polite when checking me in. Also, the bartender remembered my favorite drink when I visited the second time which impressed me very much.

Access

You can get to and from the airport by taxi. The price was decided by the type of car and the accommodation area. It was about 400 baht for me. Until I arrived at the hotel, there were about two expressway toll booths, and each time I had to pay the expressway fare myself. I think it was 50 baht and 25 baht. It is convenient because you can get to the nearest Saphan Thaksin station with a free “Tuk Tuk” for guests only. Saphan Thaksin station is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Summary

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The interior design was gorgeous and breakfast was delicious. The restaurant is next to the pool, so you can sit and relax while enjoying your breakfast. I was able to use the club floor, so it was nice to be able to have drinks at any time. I think other hotels usually have a cocktail time of about 2 hours, but the best place of this hotel is from 12:00 to 18:00, where you can drink alcohol (beer, cocktails, etc.) and of course juice. Then, you can pick up delicious food, go out, take a picture, and have a relaxing time. The staff were all very kind as well. I especially enjoyed the rooftop bar, “Sirocco,” and I would love to stay here again.
