I decided to stay at the "Arte Hotel, Bangkok," because my friend once stayed at this hotel and recommended it to me for its big and clean rooms. It is also conveniently located near many stations and famous shopping malls. There is also a gym and an outdoor pool at the hotel. This hotel is located in the city of Sukhumvit which has many high-class residential areas with many foreign tourists.

The hotel is a 9 story building.
The entrance was gorgeous with gold colors used here and there.
There were chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. There were bell boys standing at the entrance ready to help you with your luggage.
The front desk was right across the entrance.
The staff standing at the front desk greeted me with a smile.

What is the Deluxe Room like?

The room was stylish with dimmed lights. The room was cleaned everyday, but the mold in the bathroom bothered me a little. However, the room its self was clean, so I was able to spend a comfortable time.
The bed was very comfortable to sleep on and the blanket felt nice on my skin.

The room had a veranda, but there were no chairs or tables prepared. The buildings surrounding this hotel were all tall, so the view was not particularly nice. However, I could see the residential area nearby and was able to see the lives of the local people.

The bathroom was also very stylish. There was only a shower booth. There was mold on the wall, but everything else was cleaned very well.
The shower was easy to use. The water pressure was strong enough and the temperature was easy to adjust as well.

There was shampoo, conditioner, body soap, body lotion, brush, tooth brush, shower cap and a razor prepared as amenities. The housekeeper brought it new amenities everyday.

Mini bar and cafe
There was a cafe corner next to the closet. Instant coffee tea, bottle of water, electric pot and coffee cups were prepared. Also, there were snacks prepared, but they cost extra money.
Drinks were prepared in the fridge, but they also cost extra money.

There was a restaurant at the back of the lobby with a wine seller used as decoration.
It was lively with guests.
There was also a bar on the top floor.

Facilities in the hotel
There was an outdoor pool on the rooftop. There are benches around the pool, so it’s convenient for putting your belongings on top and taking a break. It is a little chilly depending on the season, so I recommend binging a bathrobe with you.
The pool at night was very beautiful with colors illuminating the pool. Surrounded by high-rise buildings, the night view is not great, but since Bangkok is a night city, you can see the city lights from 360 degrees. Also, it is less crowded at night compared to morning, so you can enjoy a romantic atmosphere in a quiet space, so I highly recommend it for couples and friends.
There is also a bar next to the pool.
There was a gym in the basement with many exercise equipments.

Hotel Surroundings
The area where the hotel is located is safe, but the restaurants and shops are a little overpriced. The hotel was close to Asoke Station and Sukhumvit Station which was convenient for traveling around. Spas are lined up nearby which is perfect for spending a relaxing time. I saw a couple of homeless people on the streets, but they did not make me feel too uncomfortable.

Staff and Guests
The staff welcomed me with a very nice smile and a kind response. They were elegant, well trained and always paying attention to the guests.
As for the guests, there were many Asian customers such as Korean, Chinese, and local people. I saw some families and friends staying, but there were mainly people staying on business trips.

Access
It takes about 40 minutes to the airport by train. You will only need to change trains once. If you take a taxi it only takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport. There are also a shopping center called Terminal 21, and also cafes and bars nearby. There are many hotels in this area, so it is relatively safe. However, you may need to be careful because there are nightclubs as well. Because it is located in the center of Bangkok, it was easy to move around by using public transportation.

Summary
I had a nice to stay at this hotel. The hotel was cheap, so I was not expecting much, but it was a clean and comfortable hotel to spend time at. I have traveled overseas several times, but this is the first hotel of this quality at this price. Also, it is very convenient because there is a large shopping mall nearby, and there are many bars and 24-hour cafes, so it was a fun place to go out even at night. The location and service was very good, and I had a very enjoyable stay.
