I decided to stay at "The Quarter Phromphong by UHG" because I had a business meeting near Phong Station. There was a lot of talk about the clean interior of the new hotel and the good service for the price. Also, the nearest station is BTS Phrom Phong Station, and there is a shuttle bus service to the station which was convenient.

Hotel Surroundings
The area around the hotel is a downtown area, so there are people on the streets and cars passing by until late at night. There are no traffic lights, so it is better to be careful when crossing the road. There was a convenience store just a 1-minute walk from the hotel. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Phrom Phong station every hour. It seems that you can drop off at the desired place not only at the station but also within the patrol route. I was sent to EmQuartier, a shopping mall directly connected to Phrom Phong station. The driver was nice and it was a bus like a tuk-tuk.
Peppina, an Italian restaurant located a 3-minute walk from the hotel.
Convenience store near the hotel.
Hotel shuttle bus.

Staff and Guests
The staff standing at the front desk were fluent in English. I was impressed by the other staff members who responded with a smile.
Due to the corona pandemic tourists could not enter the country, so 80% of the customers were Thai and 20% were foreigners. There seemed to be a certain number of people staying for a long time. The lobby was busy, but the guest rooms were quiet. There were no people in the hallways, so I was able to spend my time comfortably.

Access
I did not go to the airport this time, but since it is a hotel in the center of Bangkok, I think there will be traffic all the way. Also, there is a lot of traffic around the hotel, so it seems difficult to walk with a suitcase. I think it’s better to take a taxi to the hotel. It is a pretty safe neighborhood, but it is best watch out for your luggage.
Cityscape around the hotel.
EmQuartier which is a tourist attraction.

Summary
I had a nice stay at this hotel. The hotel was new and clean with helpful staff. The night view of the city was beautiful. Personally, I was happy that there were outlets everywhere in the room. It was also quiet in the room at night and I was able to go to sleep at ease. Also, the hotel shuttle bus was very convenient for getting around places. The downside was that when guests upstairs used the restroom or shower I could hear the sound of water in their room. However, there were no other issues and I would love to stay at this reasonable hotel once more.
