I decided to stay at the "Alize Hotel Sukhumvit" a hotel in the Sukhumvit area. The rooms have a bathtub, and big refrigerators. It is also easy to get to the airport and shops, because the hotel is close to the BTS station.
What is the appearance of the hotel? Check the entrance and reception
The hotel looked like a business hotel from the outside.
The entrance seen from the inside. There was a doorman, but they were not opening doors for the guests.
The lobby was dark with purple and blue colors used here and there.
It took me a long time to check in, because I was asked to show my passport many times. However, it may depend on the staff, because other people checking in next to me finished sooner than me.

What is the Suite Room like?
Guest room entrance door.
There was a kitchen right at the entrance.
Next to the kitchen was a living room with a sofa and a table.
Across the living room was a bedroom. The double size bed was big and comfortable to sleep on. There were four pillows and a cushion prepared on the bed.
There was a TV across the bed. You can change the angle.
Next to the bed was a desk and chair.
There were two big windows, so the room was bright. The window next to the living room could not be opened.
The view from the bedroom was of a construction site. They were working until midnight, so it may upset people who are wanting to rest at the hotel.

Bathroom
There was a bathroom with a bathtub. The fan was very loud.
I was able to stretch my legs and relax in the bathtub. However, the plug was lose, so water kept draining.
The water pressure was strong, but I could no change the angle. If you are not careful the floor will get wet.
Toilet.
There was an arm mirror next to the sink.
Amenities were shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, body shampoo, razor, soap, toothbrush, shower hat and cotton swabs.
Hair dryer.

Facilities in the hotel
There was an outdoor pool, but it was in the shade and I did not see anyone swimming in the pool. The pool itself was very clean, but if you are looking to stay at a hotel with a nicer pool this may not be the hotel for you.
There was also a gym.

Hotel Surroundings
There is a Seven-Eleven across the road. The sidewalks along the main street are narrow and it can be a little dangerous, so for those who are afraid to walk on the main road it is safer to take the back road. If you go in the opposite direction from the station, you will find cafes and other hotels. There is a shopping mall called K Village about 5 minutes away by taxi, so the hotel is in a very convenient location.
“Seven-Eleven” in front of the hotel.
A big department store called “Emquartier.”

Staff and Guests
The staff were very polite, but were not extremely friendly. They seemed to be keeping a good distance with the guests. The doorman did not offer to carry my luggage up to my room, but they will help you if you ask.
I saw many guests staying on business trips and also tourists. There were also many families with children staying, so it was sometimes a little noisy. I did not see any Westerners in the hotel during my stay.

Access
You can get to the hotel from the airport by train in less than an hour. Depending on the time of day, I arrived at the airport in 40 minutes on the highway. There is a convenience store in front of the hotel, and there are many cafes and restaurants nearby as well. It felt safe to walk around, because there were many people and cars on the streets.
It is about a two minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong Station, so it was easy to get around to places. If you need a taxi, you can ask the doorman to call one for you. There are also many buses, taxis, tuk-tuk and motorcycle taxis on the main street, so you can choose your own means of transportation.

Summary
This hotel was close to the BTS station which was very convenient. I was only staying for a short period of time, but it was easy to travel back and forth between the destination and the hotel many times with shopping bags. When I checked in, a thin card was already inserted in the place where the room key is suppose to be inserted, and the air conditioner was on. This can be left on when going out, so it was always cool in the room when I came back. However, the room key did not respond well, the ventilation fan was noisy, the shower was difficult to use and the hair dryer turned off every 20 second due to bad connection. Other than that, I had a very enjoyable stay.
