Because it is a hotel on a hill, you get a panoramic view of Naha city. The hotel is a beautiful hotel because it just reopened in September 2018 after completely renovating the building that was originally the “Okinawa Miyako Hotel.”

What is the Terrace Suite like?
Guest room door.
The room is simple but stylish.
The terrace suite has a window on the terrace side, and the room is originally large, but it looks even bigger and open.
The vivid wall art depicting the leaves of Kuba, which is popular in Okinawa, is a good feeling for a simple luxury accent. Wall art seems to be in all rooms, and the room where I stayed had beautiful green leaves, but there were other blue and lily patterns. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were big and fluffy and it felt nice. I slept very well in this bed.
Light switch and plug-in.
The TV was big.
A very calm room.
There is a private terrace which you can get in and out from the room.
There are chairs with a parasol.
The walls are high so you can only see the sky.
It is an open space where you can relax.
You can go up to the pool form the terrace.
You can see the city form the infinity pool.

There was a FamilyMart on the lobby floor. Because there were no convenience stores nearby, it was convenient. There are plenty of products, and of course there are items that are usually sold at convenience stores, as well as other items unique to the region, such as souvenirs and limited items from Okinawa.

Hotel Surroundings
Because it is a hotel in Naha city, there are many roads and buildings, but I thought it was a quiet place thanks to the hotel being on a hill. A tourist attraction near the hotel is the World Heritage Shuri Castle, about a 15 minute walk away and about 5 minutes by car. You can also get to Kokusai Street easily by taxi. Although it is a hotel in the city, it was full of nature. It is a convenient location for going sightseeing in Naha city.

Staff and Guests
Because it is a big hotel, there were many staff. As soon as I brought the car to the entrance, the staff came out and responded. The staff gave me good service.
I think there were more customers from overseas. I saw a large number of overseas group customers. Even though it was not a large group, I saw more people who seemed more like families or friends than groups or couples. I saw some families with small children.

There was a bus stop called “Novotel Okinawa Naha Mae” in front of the hotel. I think it’s about 20 minutes by car from Naha Airport. There were no convenience stores within walking distance, but there were restaurants and a convenience store in the hotel so I felt no inconveniences.

Summary
I had a nice stay at this hotel. It has been less than a year since opening, and the hotel was beautiful. Overall, it was a simple, functional but a stylish hotel. The towels are all made by Imabari, amenities are prepared, the room is spacious, the bed is comfortable to sleep on and I was very comfortable. The top floor lounge that can be used for free was nice. 360 degree panoramic view was good, breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails and snacks and drinks of each time were provided, the kind was also reasonable and delicious. The lounge available to the Premier Floor and Suite guests is spacious and overlooks the city of Naha. It was nice to be able to check in immediately at the top floor lounge. It is overall a very luxurious hotel.
