Detailed review & photos “Mercure Okinawa Naha”

When I arrived at Yui Rail “Tsubogawa Station,” I could see the hotel from the plat home.

The hotel was new and modern.

The hotel was 14 stories tall.

The corner of the hotel was a restaurant.

The entrance was small compared to the big building.

The hotel sign was small as well.

I was able to see the lobby from the outside. The windows made it feel open.

There is a counter at the entrance for arranging rental cars.

There was a lobby with sofas to sit on. It was not a luxurious space, but it was cozy and comfortable.

There were many colors used as an accent.

The front desk was colorful and very French.

There was a wall art with many pictures of Okinawa put together.

There was a full length mirror and a bathroom on the left.

The room was not very big, but the window was big and because my room was a corner room I had two extra windows above the bed making the room feel bigger. The view from the windows were wonderful. The bed covers, cushions, chair and the curtains were all very colorful.

There were two twin size beds.

The bed was comfortable and I was able to get a good nights sleep. There was a soft pillow and a hard pillow prepared on the bed. The cusion was also useful when laying down.

There was a phone and a memo set on the bedside table.

There were two small windows above the bed and the view was amazing. I was also able to see the sunrise.

You can role down the screens to block the sunlight.

There was a desk, Tv and a closet across the bed.

There was an opening in the desk that was like a dresser. There were guides and cables inside. There was also an outlet and a LAN port on the desk.

There was a cute red chair and a table by the window.

The window was very big I was able to see far away.

Looking down, I could see the Yui Rail running along the canal.

The view of the canal flowing to Naha Port, the vast sea ahead of Naha Port, the trees in a park on the opposite shore and the buildings in the city that can be seen far away were wonderful.

There was a bathroom on the left side of the entrance.

There was a shower integrated bathtub, sink and a toilet all in one room, but it was still spacious.

The bathtub was clean.

There were two original hotel shampoos, conditioners, shower gels and hand soap.

There were blue cups, amenities and a hair dryer. Amenities included two toothbrushes, two hairbrushes, and two razors. It was a pity that there was no cotton swab.

There was a closet.

There were hangers prepared inside.

There was a cafe corner on the desk. There was an electric kettle, ice bucket, cups, glasses, two free bottles of hotel original mineral water, two tea bags and two sticks of powdered green tea. Okinawa in early September is still hot, so I was very happy with the mineral water service.

There was nothing inside the fridge.

I had breakfast at “Bistro de la Mer” on the first floor. This restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch.

The inside was modern and stylish.

Breakfast was buffet style serving Japanese, Western and Okinawan dishes.

You can do takeout as well.

It was nice to have Okinawan dishes.

The pineapples were delicious.

Juice was fresh.

The food tasted very nice.

There is a meeting/banquet hall on the 2nd floor. Up to 160 people can fit in the room.

There are no restaurants in the hotel that are open at night, so I had dinner here.

“Otoya” and the pizzeria “Shakeys.”

90% of the guests were foreigners. In particular, I saw many Chinese people. Many of them were staying with families and friends. I only saw one Japanese family during breakfast.
