Detailed review & photos “EM Wellness Resort Costa Vista Okinawa”

The hotel was luxurious with a garden that was well maintained.

The entrance area was big.

The entrance seen from the hotel. The lobby was spacious. On the right is a shop selling natural foods and souvenirs from Okinawa, and behind it there is a small open restaurant and a front desk on your left.

There was a closet on the right and a bathroom on the left.

The room was large for a twin room. This hotel was a Sheraton Hotel and a Hilton Hotel in the 70’s, so some parts of the building seemed outdated, but it was mostly renovated and clean. I was able to relax in the room.

The mattress was rather stiff, but it was just right for me.

There was also a mirror and an outlet above the desk.

There was a table and two arm chairs by the window.

There was a veranda.

I could see the spa building and the cityscape of Central Okinawa. Because the hotel is on a hill, the view was beautiful. The night view was also amazing.

The bathroom was a unit bath, with a shower-integrated bathtub, toilet and a sink. However, since this hotel has a large communal bath, I did not use the bath in my room.

There was shampoo, conditioner and body soap provided next to the bathtub.

The shower was a removable hand shower.

There was only toothbrush and a body towels prepared on the sink. Other amenities were prepared by the front desk and you can take some if necessary. There were shower caps, razors, brushes, cotton swabs, cotton, etc.

There was a large closet in the bedroom.

There was a shoe horn, a clothes brush and a safe in the closet.

The safe was big enough to fit in small valuables.

There was a counter by the closet that was a cafe corner.

There was an EM mineral water, tea bags with tea leaves grown with EM bacteria, and EM brown sugar, as well as an electric kettle, cups and glasses. It was nice that everything was hotel original.

There was a fridge, but nothing was prepared inside.

I had breakfast at “Kitanaka Garden” on the first basement floor. Breakfast was served buffet style.

There were plenty of dishes to pick from.

In front of “Kitanaka Garden” was a bar lounge called “Estrella.” The view from the lounge was beautiful.

There was a cafe called the “Living Fermentation DELI & CAFE” on the first floor. There are many healthy menus such as healthy side dishes, vegan sweets, homemade bread and original drinks.

On the first floor, there was also a store called “Life’s Fermentation STORE.” They were selling EM-related natural foods and ingredients and Okinawan souvenirs that are rarely found elsewhere.

There was a gym on the second floor which guests can use freely.

There was also a laundry room on the second floor. Guests can use them freely as well.

There was also a spa building separate from the main building.

There was a large public bath in the spa building. The view form the bath was very nice. There was a white cloudy silk bath and a transparent hot water bath.

I saw families, couples and young Taiwanese or Chinese staying. There were also quite a few local Okinawans in the restaurant. There were not many people staying on a business trip.
