"Double Tree by Hilton Naha" is a hotel located right in front of the Yui Rail "Asahibashi Station" and a 10 minute drive from Naha Airport. You can get to "Kokusai Street" in about 10 minutes on foot. The hotel has a parking lot (charged), so it is convenient to stay with a rental car.

“Double Tree by Hilton Naha” is a 12-story hotel located in front of Asahibashi Station. The hotel had a calm atmosphere.

There were sofas and tables in the lobby. Also, since I stayed in late November, there was a large Christmas tree on display.

What is the Twin Room like?

There was also a bathroom on the right and a full length mirror on the left.

The room was modern and calm. It is only 26 square meters wide which was not very big, but there was everything I needed in the room, so I was able to stay comfortably.

There were two beds in the room. The beds were were single size beds that were 110cm wide which was a little bigger than the average size.

There were lights by the bed.

There was a TV remote, alarm clock, light switch and an outlet between the beds.

My room was a room facing the Yui Rail, so I could see “Asahibashi Station” in front of me and the building with the Okinawa Prefectural Library and a bus terminal in the back.

The bathroom had a shower-integrated bathtub, sink and a toilet all in one room.

The bathroom was not big, but it was clean and comfortable to spend time in.

There was an open closet by the entrance. It was not a big space, but there were plenty of hangers prepared.

I had breakfast around 8am, but it was already full.

Breakfast was buffet style, with a wide variety of Japanese and Western menus as well as Okinawan dishes using local ingredients.

There was a coin laundry on the 3rd floor. There were also ice machines on the 3rd, 6th, 8th and 11th floor.

There was a parking lot with 12 parking spaces and a multi-story parking area with 188 parking spaces. If you are a guest staying at the hotel, you can park your car for ¥1,500 per night.

Hotel Surroundings

The hotel faces the National Route 331 and there are convenience stores and restaurants along the road. Kokusai street is across the street.

Staff and Guests

Correspondence of the staff was good. There seemed to be many foreign guests staying such as from China and Taiwan, so many of the staff were foreign staff as well.

Access

I went to the hotel by car from Naha Airport, but it only took about 10 minutes. Yui Rail “Asahibashi Station” is right in front of the hotel, so access from the airport is very convenient.

Summary

I had a nice stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, but it was more like a business hotel, so if you are looking to stay at a fancy hotel, this may not be the best hotel for you. Th hotel is very close to Naha Airport, so if you are arriving in Naha late at night, or flying out early in the morning this is the perfect hotel to stay in.
