"Almont Hotel Naha Prefectural Office" is very close to Okinawa Prefectural Office and Naha City Hall, and you can reach Kokusai Street in a few minutes on foot. There is a large communal bath in the hotel where you can relax after a long trip. In addition, the hotel has a multi-story parking lot (charged), so it is convenient to be able to park your car.

“Almont Hotel Naha Kenchomae” is a 12-story hotel located about a 3-minute walk from Yui Rail “Kencho-mae Station.”
The exterior is simple and does not look like a hotel at a first glance.

There were palm trees planted in front of the hotel.
The entrance was a modern Japanese style design.

Shisas were placed at the entrance.
There was a restaurant and relaxation corner “Hanamomi” on the left side of the entrance.
It is open as a free space from 2pm to 10pm. Various books and computers are provided.
You can have free drinks.
The lobby was not big, but it was very clean and neat.
The front desk was on the right side of the entrance.

What is the Double Room like?
Guest room entrance door
There was a full length mirror and a bathroom on the right and an open closet and a cafe corner on the left.
The room was 17 square meters big which was a compact size.
The queen size bed was very big. It was very comfortable to sleep on and I was able to sleep well.
There were four pillows on the bed. Pajamas were also prepared on the bed.
There was a phone and a memo set on the bed and a hair dryer underneath.
There was also a charger for different devices.

There was a sofa and a table next to the bed.
There was a window.
The view was only of the building next door.

The bathroom was a unit bath which was not very big, but there is a public bath in the hotel, so the size did not bother me.
Bath and shower
The shower was a removable hand shower. Water pressure was strong enough and the temperature was easy to adjust.
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were provided next to the shower.
A toilet with a washlet function
Amenities included a toothbrush set, brush, razor, cotton swab and a sanitary bag.

There was a deodorant spray hangers and a shoe horn in the open closet.
There were slippers but no safe.

There was a cafe corner next to the closet.
There was an electric kettle, cups, glasses and tea bags provided. There was no coffee in the room, but there is a coffee machine and soft drinks in the restaurant and relaxation space “Hanamomi” on the first floor.

I had breakfast at “Hanamomi” on the first floor.
Breakfast was buffet style and there were dishes using local ingredients.
Scrambled eggs, bacon and so on.
Grilled salmon with Okinawan soup called Shikamuduchi (bonito broth clear soup)

Facilities in the hotel
On the 12th floor which is the top floor, there is a large public bath called “Yonano-no-Yu,” which is open from 4:00pm to 2:00am and from 6:00am to 10:00am.
The artificial hot spring “quasi-natural” Koumashi hot spring, there were 10 washing places. The public bath is equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body soap, and the female public bath seems to have women’s amenities as well.
There was also a coin laundry on the 12th floor. There are two in the common area and two in the women’s bathhouse dressing room for women only.
On the 12th floor, there were also vending machine, ice machine, and microwave.
There was also a multi-story parking lot behind the hotel. There are 16 parking spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis, for 1100 yen per night (including tax).

The response of the hotel staff were very good. The staff always greeted me with a smile. There were mostly Japanese people staying at the hotel.

The hotel is about 12 minutes from Naha Airport to “Kenchomae Station” by Okinawa City Monorail (Yui Rail), and it is about a 3-minute walk from there to the hotel. It is only 10 minutes by car from the airport which is very close.

Summary
I had a nice stay at this hotel. Because it is still a new hotel, I was able to stay very comfortably. It was nice that there was a public bath in the hotel, because the bath in the room was a unit bath. The hotel is also located in the middle of Naha city, making it a very convenient location to move around. It is more of a business hotel, but I recommend this hotel for those looking for a new and clean hotel around Kokusai Street.
