Detailed review & photos “The Southern Links Resort Hotel”

The hotel is a resort hotel with a golf corse surrounded by the ocean and nature.

The building itself was not new, but it had a nice atmosphere with a very big entrance.

There were many golf carts parked outside the entrance.

The lobby is connected with the clubhouse, so it was very spacious.

The ceiling was high and the big windows made the lobby feel open. You can walk out to the terrace from the lobby as well.

There was a bathroom on the right and a closet and cafe corner on the right.

The room was very spacious. It was not a new room, but was a calm and tropical resort-like room.

The mat was a little stiff and the bed was low. It was a little too low to sit on the bed. The comforter was light but warm and I was able to sleep comfortably.

There was a light switch and a radio panel.

There was a window next to the bed that was connecting the bathroom.

My room had a garden terrace and I could go straight to the pool.

There was a table with two chairs on the terrace. I was able to enjoy a nice view of the beach.

The view of the beach, garden, pool and the hotel its self was very enjoyable.

At night the pool and garden were lit up and was very beautiful.

The bathroom was very spacious.

The bathtub and washing area were separated. The bathtub was big and relaxing.

Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were prepared next to the bathtub. They all smelled very nice and felt nice on my body and hair.

There was a window connecting the bathroom and the bedroom, so I was able to enjoy the outside view or watch TV while relaxing in the bathtub.

The shower room was divided with a glass wall. The water pressure and the temperature of the water for the shower could be adjusted easily.

Towels were prepared next to the toilet.

Amenities were toothbrush sets, cotton swabs, razors, hairbrushes, and shower caps for each person.

There was a hair dryer.

There was a closet.

There was plenty of space to store clothes and my luggage in the closet. There were hangers, shoehorn and a clothes brush prepared inside. Unfortunately, there was no safe.

There was a cafe corner on the shelf next to the closet. Here, there were was an electric kettle with water already added inside and teabags. There was no drink in the room, but there was an insulated ice bucket, and there was an ice machine beside the vending machine that sells alcohol on the third floor.

There was also a fridge.

There was nothing inside.

I had breakfast at “Ocean Dining Hanajo.”

There were many guests staying at this hotel, but there were plenty of seats available in the restaurant, so it was very relaxing.

It was nice to be able to enjoy the view of the golf corse and the beach from the big windows.

Breakfast was buffet style.

The buffet had several Okinawan dishes such as bitter gourd and mozukuten, but the basics were standard breakfasts such as Japanese food and bread.

I had a Japanese style breakfast.

There was a small shop next to the restaurant selling specialty alcohol and food. There was also a golf shop, but I did not shop there.

There was an outdoor pool, but I was not able to swim in it because it was off season.

There was also a public bath.

There was a self-laundry room. In the small room beside the stairs, there were two washing machines and two dryers, and detergent was being sold for those who did not bring any.

There were many guests staying to play golf. There were many couples when I stayed. I didn’t see many groups or small children. Most of the guests staying were quiet and calm.
