“The Royal Park Hotel Ginza 6-Chome” hotel review & photos

This large hotel has 15 floors and 273 guest rooms. The exterior features a delicate design and is a beautiful new building with golden accents that match the ginkgo trees lining the street.

It is located along Showa-dori Street and has a restaurant on the first floor.

The entrance hall also incorporates the golden color of ginkgo leaves, creating a charming atmosphere with a retro-modern design.

The reception and lobby is on the second floor. Please use the stairs or the elevator at the back to reach it.

When you go up to the second floor, the reception is directly in front of you, and the lobby lounge is at the back.

There are automatic check-in and check-out machines available, allowing you to complete the check-in and check-out processes independently.

The lobby is spacious and features numerous sofas and tables that you can use freely.

The bright and open lobby has large windows on two sides, with green plants outside, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere even in the city.

In one corner of the lobby is the SNACK & DRINK STATION, which offers drinks and snacks 24 hours a day and features a cashless self-checkout system.

There are three elevators.

The elevators are secure and will stop at your guest floor when you hold your card key over the reader.

Guest room floor corridor

The guest rooms are decorated in the persimmon and light green colors reminiscent of the formal curtains of the Kabuki-za theater, while the corridors are similarly divided into light green and persimmon areas.

Upon entering the room, the bathroom is located on the left, while a full-length mirror is situated on the right.

The rooms are approximately 22 to 24 square meters in size. Being a new hotel, everything is fresh, clean, functional, and comfortable.

The twin rooms are adorned in a red hue reminiscent of the color of persimmons. The interior design is a fusion of retro and modern styles, featuring thick silhouettes and rounded designs popular during the early Showa period.

There were two beds placed side by side, each equipped with Simmons mattresses. The mattresses were soft enough to offer firm support for the body, ensuring a comfortable rest.

Two pillows are provided, and an art panel hangs above the headboard.

There are power outlets and USB ports conveniently located at the bedside.

There is also a power outlet and a USB port available on the other side.

Separate type nightwear.

In addition to regular TV programs, you can access video streaming services such as YouTube and AbemaTV on the television. Additionally, you can check hotel information directly on the television.

There is a table, chairs and stools by the window.

The room I stayed in faced a narrow road. Although I could see the neighboring building outside the window, I also had a view of Showa-dori Street, so I didn’t feel confined.

The standard type room is equipped with a shower booth but does not have a bathtub. The shower booth is separate, while the sink and toilet are in the same space.

The shower booth is spacious enough.

The bathroom is equipped with both a rain shower and a hand shower. The water pressure is strong, and the water flow can be adjusted to three levels. The temperature can be smoothly and comfortably adjusted.

The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap provided were all from Mikimoto Cosmetics, featuring a gentle, elegant scent that added to the pleasant bathing experience.

The sink is equipped with hand and face soap.

Amenities provided include toothbrushes, razors, hairbrushes, shower caps, cotton pads, cotton swabs, and body towels.

The closet is equipped with clothing deodorizing spray, a clothes brush, a shoe horn, a shoe polisher, and a baggage rack.

Slippers and disposable slippers are also provided.

The safety deposit box operates on a PIN code system.

The Japanese-style Western restaurant “GINZA-LAMP-TEI” is located on the first floor and operates during breakfast, lunch, cafe, and dinner hours.

Facing Showa-dori, the restaurant features an open kitchen and a casual atmosphere.

Breakfast is served buffet-style and includes a variety of standard Japanese, Western, and Japanese-style “Western” dishes.

The live kitchen includes a section where a chef makes onigiri right in front of you, offering a choice of ingredients from over 10 types, and serving it to you fresh.

An example of breakfast included Japanese Western-style menu items alongside standard breakfast options. Japanese dishes were also available, making for a well-balanced and delicious meal.

The bar “Kobikicho Club” is situated on the second floor. They offer a wide selection of Japanese whiskey, allowing guests to experience the Japanese bar culture of snack bars by enjoying drinks, chatting, and singing karaoke with the bar owner and her friends.

The “SNACK & DRINK STATION” is situated in the lobby on the second floor, offering a variety of drinks, instant noodles, snacks, and more. It operates 24 hours a day and features self-checkouts for cashless payments.

There is a large public bath located on the B1 floor, accessible from 15:00 to 25:00 and from 6:00 to 10:00.

The large public bath exudes a retro vibe, featuring vibrant colored tiles that incorporate the hues of Ginza’s ginkgo and willow trees.

The large communal bath is equipped with a ReFa shower head and a Panasonic Nanocare high-end hair dryer. Both the bathroom and locker room were clean and comfortable.

Vending machines are located on the B1 floor.

The coin-operated laundry facilities are located on the B1 floor.

Ice makers are installed on the 3rd, 7th, 11th, and 15th floors.

An ironing room is also provided.

It appears that the customer base is diverse, catering to both leisure and business travelers. The charming retro-modern atmosphere makes it an ideal destination for girls’ trips, and it likely attracts many foreign tourists as well.
