"Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Ariake" is an upper class hotel located in "Ariake Garden," a large complex in the Tokyo Bay area. This hotel opened on August 1st 2020, and has a public bath, shopping city and a theater. "Tokyo Big Sight," "Ariake Coliseum," "Ariake Arena," etc. are nearby, making it easy to access popular spots in the city center. I stayed at this hotel during pre-opening.

The hotel is located in the “Ariake Garden” and is also near Ariake Station.
It is a 16 story hotel with about 750 rooms. The new hotel was clean and stylish.
I arrived on the second floor of the station and there were directions pointing to the hotel.
The carport was on the 1st floor.
The main entrance was on the 2nd floor.

There was another door on the right.
The lobby had a calm atmosphere with a modern interior. The floor to ceiling windows brightened the lobby.

There was also a self check in and check out machine.

It was a very chic design.

What is the Superior Twin Room like?
Guest room entrance door
There was a bathroom on the right and a hanging space on the left.
The room seen from the entrance.
The room was 22 square meters wide with two beds, a large sofa, and a desk, and it was a chic design. It was a very spacious and functional room.
The beds were a large single size with a Simmons mattress. It was soft and comfortable to sleep on.
The wall was decorated with a black and white photo of the rainbow bridge, ferris wheel, and a scenery of Tokyo.
There was an outlet, USB port and a light switch on the head board.
Pajamas were prepared on the bed. You can wear this to the spa as well.
TV across the bed.
You can check how crowded the restaurants, spas and the laundry rooms are.
There was an outlet, USB port and a LAN port under the TV. There was also a Bluetooth speaker.
Humidifier
A desk underneath the TV.
A small mirror prefect for doing makeup.
Air conditioner remote, TV remote and an alarm clock.
There was a sofa by the window with plenty of space to relax.
I was able to see the “Ariake Coliseum,” “Ariake Tennis Forest” and the view of Odaiba and the city center.
I could also see the Tokyo Tower in the distance, and you can enjoy a different view compared to daytime.

The bathtub, toilet and sink were in the same room.

Amenities included a toothbrush, razor, cotton, cotton swabs, hairbrush, and a body wash towel.

A toilet with a washlet function.
The bathtub was big with plenty of room to relax in.
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were prepared on the bath.

Restaurants in the hotel
I had dinner and breakfast at the “All Day Dining Grand Ale” on the 2nd floor.
The spacious restaurant was modern with a calm atmosphere. Sunlight shown in from the large windows during the day. There are over 240 seats.
Since it was a buffet restaurant, the dishes were lined up on the buffet table, but when I stayed at the hotel, salads and desserts were prepared separately to prevent coronavirus infection.

The “Japanese Western Room” was 28 square meters wide with a relaxing tatami mat. There were two beds and two futon mattresses can be laid on the tatami mat as well.

Moderate Double Room
The “Moderated Double Room” had an interesting layout with the bathroom located by the window. It is a compact room that is only 17 square meters wide, but the bathroom wall was transparent making the room feel more spacious.
There was a rain shower and a hand held shower in the bathroom.

Hotel Surroundings
The hotel is located in “Ariake Garden,” a large commercial facility that opened in June 2020. “Ariake Garden” has various amusement facilities such as the “Shopping City,” theater and hot spring facilities. You can enjoy shopping and eating. There was a convenience store and a super market nearby which was convenient. “Bicsite,” “Ariake Coliseum,” “Ariake Arena,” etc. are within walking distance, so it’s ideal for those staying to go to events.

Staff and Guests
The staff were all very polite. There were not many guests staying because it was during pre-opening, but I saw couples and families staying. There were different types of rooms, so it is suitable for wide range of people.

Access
It is about 7 minutes on foot from Rinkai Line “International Exhibition Center” Station, about 4 minutes on foot from Yurikamome “Ariake” Station, about 6 minutes on foot from Yurikamome “Ariake Tennis no Mori” Station. In addition, you can take the Toei bus directly from the center of the city to access the hotel. You can come by car and park the car at the hotel parking lot as well.

Summary
The “Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Ariake Hotel” was a new, clean and cozy hotel. The facilities are new and easy to use, and I was able to spend a relaxing and comfortable time in a calm and modern space. The spa at the hotel was very clean and was a spacious and fulfilling facility. When staying, I definitely recommend going to the spa. There are also restaurants and the Shopping City” adjunct to the hotel which was very convenient. The “Big Sight” is within walking distance and a theater will open at the “Ariake Garden,” so I think it will be very convenient when an event is held there. I would love to stay at this hotel once more.
