Restaurants and shops in the hotel

IMG_1023.JPG (2)

There was a Japanese restaurant called “Shimizu”, a sushi restaurant called “Gotoku” and a tempura restaurant called “Fukusa” on the 1st floor. I had dinner at “Shimizu.”

IMG_1023.JPG (4)

The food was very delicious.

IMG_1023.JPG (10)

I had breakfast at “Porto” which is located on the 3rd floor.

IMG_1023.JPG (9)

The breakfast venue also had a large window so I could see Tokyo Tower up close. Due to the influence of Corona, only drinks were buffet style. Personally, I prefer not to have a buffet, so it was just right. Breakfast could be selected from Western and Japanese dishes on the set menu. In addition, Western dishes could be selected from American and continental breakfasts.

IMG_1023.JPG (8)

I chose a Western style breakfast with an omelet. I was very satisfied with the taste and the view.

IMG_1023.JPG (11)

Teppanyaki / Steak “Yakiniku Champion” on the 1st floor.

IMG_1023.JPG (17)

Tea salon “Pikake” on the 1st floor.

In addition, there was a Chinese restaurant called “Manro Nien,” cafe & bar “Tower View Terrace” and main bar “Windsor.”

IMG_1023.JPG (16)

There was a convenience store on the first basement floor of the hotel which was very convenient.

IMG_1023.JPG (23)

There was also a “shopping arcade” on the first basement floor. There seemed to be nice shops such as lingerie salon, living salon and bag salon.

Women’s clothing shop.

IMG_1023.JPG (14)

The gallery was full of unique art and furniture.

Hotel Surroundings

The Tokyo Tower is right next to the hotel, so you can get to Tokyo Tower within a 1-2 minute walk. In addition, there are large, well-maintained parks such as Shiba Park and Momiji Valley, so you can enjoy the nature while staying in the city center. Many people were taking a walk, and it is a very pleasant park. In this way, the hotel is in the heart of the big city, yet in a very blessed environment with abundant nature. In addition, there is Zojoji Temple next to the hotel, and there is Shiba Toshogu Shrine nearby making it a tourist destination full of attractions.

Summary

I had a nice stay at this hotel. It was a nice historical hotel right next to Tokyo Tower. Surrounded by the nature you can spend a quiet and relaxing time without feeling the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel has a long history, so it is also recommended for those who like classic hotels. The view of Tokyo Tower from the room or restaurant was beautiful and the food was delicious. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
