I decided to stay at "The Centurion Hotel Classic Akasaka," because it is easily accessible from both Akasaka Station and Akasaka Mitsuke Station. I also wanted to visit the Hie Shrine, and this was a hotel which I could stay at for a cheaper price. Also, it has been evaluated well on various sites, and since it is close to convenience stores and Don Quijote, I thought it would be convenient for shopping.

There were restaurants on the first floor of the hotel and it made me wonder if this is really the hotel.
Right next to the hotel entrance, there was a restaurant called “THE PUBLIC RED AKASAKA,” and there were many cheap and expensive shops around.

A beautiful chandelier was hanging at the entrance.
The lobby was not very big. Check in was done while sitting down.

What is the Japanese Style Suite like?
Guest room entrance door
You must take your shoes off at the entrance.
Slippers were prepared at the entrance. There was also a kitchen and a closet on the right, a bathroom in the front, and a room on the left.
The room was surprisingly big and the wooden flooring was very clean. The king size bed was spacious and comfortable to sleep on. Also, the bed was low, so it wold be safe for children to sleep on.
In addition to the king-sized beds, there were two bunk beds that can accommodate up to eight people.
A table in the middle of the room.
There was a TV across the bed and table. There is a big air purifier and body refresher next to the TV, and the wind blows from below when standing, so I was able to stay very cool.

A massage chair.
The window was small, and it seemed to be more for escaping during emergencies.
I could only see the buildings in the city of Akasaka. I preferred to keep the shoji closed and enjoyed the stylish room.

Bathroom
The bathroom was big with a spacious bathtub. I was able to relax in hot water.
The shower was a height adjustable and removable hand shower, and the water pressure was sufficient.
The bathroom was cleaned very well, but the floor was aging.
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were prepared next to the shower.
A toilet with a washlet function.
Sink
There was hand soap, oil type makeup remover, face soap and lotion on the sink. The “Natural Organic” products smelled very nice. There were also amenities such as a toothpaste set, razor, hairbrush, hair elastic, cotton and cotton swabs in a box.

Closet and safe
There was a closet across the bathroom.
Plenty of hangers, nightgowns, deodorant spray, clothes brush and towels were prepared in the closet.
There was also a safe.

Kitchen
There was a kitchen at the entrance.
There was a coffee machine on the counter. There were only two coffee capsules prepared, but I would have preferred to have had some tea as well.
Ice bucket, plates and cutlery in the drawer.

Hotel Surroundings
It is safe to walk outside during the day, but the roads are narrow and many cars pass by, so you need to be careful when walking around with your luggage. It is a popular drinking spot at night, so it may not be suitable for children. However, there are also famous restaurants here and there, so it is best to do some research beforehand.

Staff and Guests
The staff was not very friendly and the hospitality was not particularly good. There were only a small number of staff.
I did not meet any of the other guests. I would imagine many businessmen and couples staying at this hotel.

Access
There are many bars around the hotel, so it is not suitable for families with children. The Hie Shrine is nearby, so I recommend visiting the shrine. There are a wide variety of restaurants ranging from very cheap to expensive, including Japanese food, Chinese, Korean, sushi restaurants and bars.

Summary
I decided to stay here to change my work environment, but the table was low, so I did not get much work done. However, being able to stay alone in a room where up to eight people can stay was an extraordinary experience. I very much enjoyed the massage chair in the room. The room is big enough to spend the night with a number of people, and to enjoy a relaxing time in a luxurious room. I would love to spend the night here once more.
