Detailed review & photos “Sunshine City Prince Hotel”

The hotel is located right next to “Sunshine 60.”

It is a 37 story building.

There was a carport at the entrance.

There were entrances here and there. This is the entrance connected to a shopping mall.

There were signs showing the way to the hotel.

The hotel was renovated in 2019, so the lobby was beautiful.

There was a cute IKEBUS on display at the entrance.

There was also a large panel with a picture os Seibu Lions players.

The lobby was very stylish and luxurious.

The front desk was spacious. The staff were wearing baseball uniforms.

There was a vending machine, iron/ironing board and a trouser press prepared on each floor.

There was a closet, bathroom and a full length mirror on the right.

The room was compact, but new and clean because it had just been renovated. In addition, the wallpaper and furniture were coordinated in a color that is mainly light purple, giving a bright impression.

The beds were made by Simmons and was very comfortable to sleep on. The sheets were also very clean.

There were two pillows prepared on each bed.

The pajamas had a nice texture.

There was a phone and a memo pad on the bedside table.

There was a light adjustment panel, outlet and a USB port on the headboard.

There was a ottoman with a safe and laundry bag underneath.

The TV was next to the bed.

The desk was spacious.

There was a lace curtain and a blackout curtain.

Although the window was small the view from the 32nd floor was beautiful. I could see the “Sunshine 60,” “Docomo Tower” and a huge clock tower in Shinjuku.

The view at night was also gorgeous. I was able to spend a wonderful time in my room.

The bathtub, sink and toilet were in the same room. It was new and clean.

The bathtub was deep.

The shower was a removable hand shower, and the water pressure was just right.

Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were prepared next to the shower.

Amenities such as a hand towel, hair dryer, toothbrush set, razor, hairbrush, comb, shower cap, body towel and cotton swabs were prepared on the sink.

Bath towels and face towels.

There was an open closet. Plenty of hangers were hanging and also a deodorant spray.

Baggage rack, slippers, clothes brush, shoe horn and a shoe polish were prepared bellow.

There was a safe underneath an ottoman next to the bed.

There was an electric kettle, cups, glasses, instant coffee, green tea, and Hoji tea prepared under the desk.

There was nothing prepared in the fridge.

Cafe & dining “Chef’s Palette” was located on the 1st floor. I had both dinner and breakfast here.

The restaurant was divided into a dining area with a total of 102 seats, a semi-private room that can be used by groups of up to 40 people and a cafe area with a casual atmosphere.

I had some craft beer.

Pasta, mussel ajillo and chicken ajillo.

I had three types of tiramisu for dessert. Every dish was delicious.

You can choose between a Western or Japanese set for breakfast, so I chose Western dishes. The freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and egg dishes could be fried eggs, scrambled eggs or omelets. Sausages, bacon, hot vegetables, yogurt, fruits, salads, soups, daily breads, and mini desserts will fill your stomach, but you can choose a main dish.

There was a FamilyMart on the 1st floor. There were special products on sail, so the name was not a “Convenience store” but a “Convenience shop FamilyMart.”

There was a “stretch room” on the 21st floor. You will need to pay extra fee to use this room. Balance balls and yoga mats were available.

There was a waiting room for those who had an early flight or a late departure flight” You can stay for a while and pay a fee before you check in and leave.

There was a room called “Muslim prayer room.” There was a women only room and a male only room. It is equipped with a prayer mat and hand and foot washing area. You can use this room for free.

There were those staying on a business trip, tourists and baseball fans. I did not see any guests staying as a group, but it was probably because of the coronavirus.
