"Moon Ocean Ginowan Hotel & Residence" is a hotel suitable for a slightly longer stays, because all rooms fully equipped with a kitchen. It is located about 30 minutes away by car from Naha Airport, and it is about 20 minutes from the hotel to sightseeing spots such as American Village and Shuri Castle, making it a perfect location for sightseeing in Okinawa. Nearby there is a competition center (shopping mall) and a 24-hour supermarket, where you can buy ingredients to cook at the kitchen in the room. There is even a refrigerator and a microwave which is very convenient.

There was a staff standing at the round-about.
There was also a sign at the entrance.
You will need to walk a little ways to the hotel.

What is the Deluxe Twin Room like?
Guest room entrance door
There were slippers prepared at the entrance and you will need to take your shoes off to get inside.
There was a closet and a kitchen on the left and a bathroom at the back.

The sofa was very comfortable to sit and lay on.

The lamp next the sofa had a foot switch.
There was a bedroom next to the living room.
There were two semi-double size beds.
Pajamas were prepared on the bed.
A light switch between the two beds.
There was a phone on one side of the bed.
On the other side was an alarm clock.
There was a desk and a luggage stand across the bed.
There were outlets on the desk which were very convenient to have.

There was a large window in the bathroom that made the room very bright.
The bathtub and shower were together.
The shower was a removable hand shower, but the water pressure was a little weak.
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap
Towels were prepared as well.

There was a microwave and a fridge inside. Unfortunately, there was nothing prepared inside the fridge.

There were no cooking-ware, but if you ask the hotel, they will lend you some.

I had breakfast at the all-day dining “Ocean Grill” on the first floor.
Breakfast was buffet style, with a variety of Japanese and Western dishes.
There were big windows everywhere.

The hotel had an outdoor pool. It is only open from April to October.
There were gazebos and deck chairs by the pool.
There were also tables with parasols.
There was a Jacuzzi next to the pool.

Residential member lounge. Hotel Moon Beach’s Residential Club Room, Moon Ocean Ginowan II Hotel & Residence is a dedicated lounge that guests can use, and they have a drink and snack service, computer room, library corner and so on.

Staff and Guests
At the reception there were always about two staff standing. Check-in went smoothly and the staff carried my luggage to the room and explained about the room and the hotel facilities.
There were many Japanese, Asian, European and American guests. There were many families staying. In the daytime everyone went sightseeing, so it was very quiet in the hotel.

It is about a 30 minute drive from Naha Airport. A shuttle bus runs between the airport and the hotel, but it is recommended that you rent a car, because it is more convenient to go sightseeing by car.

Summary
This is a nice hotel for families to stay at for a long period of time. There is a supermarket nearby and you can cook your own meals, so you can save money without having to go out to eat every time. If you go a little ways from the hotel there is a beach. The room was big and clean. The bathtub and sink were very close together and was a little inconvenient, but other than that, it is a relaxing hotel and I highly recommend staying here.
