Detailed review & photos “JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Shinjuku”

The hotel is a 16-story building that is conveniently located a 3-minute walk away from JR Shinjuku Station South Exit.

There is a sign of the hotel on top of the hotel and it was lit up at night.

There is a restaurant called “Akasaka Umaya Shinjuku” beside of the entrance, and at night the lighting inside the store leaked out from a large glass door and it was bright.

There is another big sign by the entrance.

The hotel had a mechanical underground parking. 28 cars can park in the parking lot, but you cannot reserve a parking space.

It is easy to tell where the parking lot is thanks to the big sign.

The entrance is big, and the wooden style is modern-Japanese.

The lobby has a high ceiling, and there is a seating area which was relaxing.

Throughout the hall, artworks such as traditional Kyushu crafts were casually displayed, and it was exciting to be able to look at them. This is a print of Imari Tontenton.

A painting of Hakata Yamakasa was displayed by the front desk.

The font desk had beautiful colors in the back ground and the color changes throughout the day.

There was a floor guid with an interesting design.

There was a telephone and video-on-demand ticket machine in the corridor of the guest room floor.

The rooms were simple and clean. However, since it is not very big, if you stay with a large suitcase, you may have a hard time getting things in a and out of the luggage.

The bed is a Simmons pocket coil bed and was a 160cm wide queen size so it was nog enough for me to sleep on comfortably.

You can store things in the drawer.

There was a night lamp on both sides of the bed.

There is an alarm, two bottles of free water and a mirror.

There was an ethology card which you can place on the bed.

There was a plug-in outlet and a light switch on this side of the bed as well.

There was a nice artwork of a sunset in Kyushu displayed above the bed.

There is a TV across the bed.

There is a luggage rack and a storage space under the TV.

At the back of the room was a table and a chair.

There was a desk by the window.

The desk is spacious and perfect for working.

There was a phone by the desk.

There is a plug-in outlet and a LAN cable outlet on the desk.

The window goes up to the ceiling.

From the window, you can see a distinctive building of Shinjuku Rikoin Hakuren Hana-Do next to the hotel, so I could not enjoy the view from the guest room.

Maybe if you stay in a room on the upper floor, the view might be better.

There was a shower with a bathtub, a toilet and a sink in one room. The bathroom was kept very clean.

The bathtub was big enough, so I was able to relax in the bathtub with my legs extended.

The shower was removable, and the water pressure was not a problem at all.

The water temperature was easy to adjust.

There was shampoo, conditioner and body soap prepared by the bathtub.

The toilet had a Washlet function.

There was hand & face soap prepared on the sink.

There was a large mirror above the sink.

Amenities included a hairbrush, toothbrush set, shaving, shaving cream, cotton swab, cotton and a shower cap.

Bath towels, face towels and body towels were also prepared. Bath towels and face towels were Imabari towels, and it felt very nice.

There was a hairdryer under the TV.

There was a closet on the left side of the room.

Because the closet has no depth, it was not a type that hangs side by side, but a type that hung clothes facing forward. There may not be enough space to hang many coats in the winter.

There were slipper and a deodorant spray.

The safe was in the drawer of the bedside table.

There was a cafe corner on the bedside table. An electric kettle, Sencha tea bag and a coffee set was prepared.

There was a restaurant called “Akasaka Umaya Shinjuku” on the first floor where I had breakfast.

There was an entrance facing the road as well.

The interior of the store was bright and open using natural lighting. It was the Kabuki actor and the third generation Ichikawa Sarunosuke direction, and the store also had photos.

There were a variety of dishes to pick from.

Kyushu ingredients are used.

Pudding using eggs from Fukuoka, which was very delicious.

There was a computer room by the lobby.

There were two computers and two printers (it costs money to print). You can rent computers at the front desk as well.

There were many convenience stores around the hotel, so it was very convenient.
