"Hundred Stay Tokyo Shinjuku" is an apartment type hotel located a 3-minute walk from Okubo Station on the JR Sobu Line and an 8-minute walk from Shin-Okubo Station on the JR Yamanote Line. Some rooms have a kitchen and a washer/dryer. This is a hotel suitable for a long term stay.

The hotel was a 21-story tall building, which is a high-rise building that stands out even from a distance.

The entrance is locked after 10pm, so you will need your room key in order to get in.

The lobby had a relaxed atmosphere.

What is the Superior Queen Room like?

There was a full length mirror and a bathroom on the right, and a closet and kitchen on the left.

There was a kitchen in front of the bedroom.
The rooms were a little over 29 square meters wide with plenty of space for one person to stay. My room was equipped with a kitchen, but there are also rooms equipped with a washer/dryer and rooms that can accommodate up to 6 people. This is a hotel suitable for guests staying for a long period of time.
The queen size bed was big with a Simon’s mattress which was comfortable to sleep on.
Four pillows and two cushions were placed on the bed.
Pajamas
The headboard was Japanese style. There was a lighting adjustment panel on the headboard, and there was also an outlet and a USB port on the side.
TV and desk across the bed.
A 43 inch LCD TV.
Below the TV there was also a Blue-Ray player and a BOSE speaker.
Humidifier
There was a telephone, memo set, hotel guide, TV remote and a smartphone “handy” that can be used freely during your stay.

There was a lace curtain and a blackout curtain.
My room was on the 19th floor, so enjoy a nice view of the city.
The city lights were beautiful at night.

Bathroom
There was a bathroom at the entrance.
The sink, toilet and bathtub were separate.
There was a wash area next to the bathroom. The bathtub was big and deep, so I was able to relax inside.
The shower was a removable hand shower, and the water pressure and temperature were just right.
There was a bucket and a stool next to the bathtub.
Mikimotoco Sticks shampoo, conditioner and body soap.
The toilet was located next to the sink.
Towels were hanging next to the sink.
Face and hand soap.
Amenities such as a toothbrush set, body towel, razor, hair elastic, cotton and swabs were prepared on the sink.

Restaurants in the hotel
There was a cafe lounge on the first floor where breakfast is usually served. However, when I stayed, breakfast was canceled due to the influence of the corona virus.

There was a gym on the first floor which was open from 6am to 10pm. When I stayed, it was completely booked from 7am to 8pm.

There were many restaurants serving Korean and Chinese dishes Along Okubo-Dori. If you enter an alley there will be a residential area.

Staff and Guests
The staff checked me in very smoothly. There seemed to be many young guests staying at this hotel. It is usually popular with foreign tourists, but I did not see anyone due to the corona virus.

Access
If you go out from the north exit of JR Okubo station and proceed to the left you can see the hotel. A taxi from Shinjuku Station costs just under 1,000 yen.

Summary
I had a nice stay at the “Hundred stay Tokyo.” I was looking for a convenient hotel in Shinjuku and this hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and the bathroom was functional. You can also enjoy the atmosphere of an Asian town nearby.
