I stayed at the "Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku," which is about a 3 minute walk from Shinjuku Station. Access to the area around Shinjuku was good, and the room was compact and there was no inconvenience during my stay. Buses from the airport stops in front of this hotel, so it is recommended for those who need to get to places right away or people who are staying for work.

The hotel is just a 3 minute walk away from JR Shinjuku Station South Exit, but it is far from downtown.

There is a big sign at the front of the hotel.

It is convenient, because busses going and coming from the airport stops in front of the hotel.

There was a sofa space at the lobby. The ceiling of the lobby is high and and there are large windows, so it was an open space with bright sunlight coming in during the day.

The room was not so big, but it was a modern and calm room with dark brown furniture and warm gray based shades which was very relaxing.

Bathtub, shower, toilet and sink was in the same room.

You will need to adjust the cold water and hot water on your own, so it is a little complicated.

Closet and safe

There was a closet on the right after entering the room. The closet door was a full length mirror.

The closet was not so deep, but it was not a problem for me. The closet contained hangers, a clothes brush, and a deodorant spray.

Staff and guests

There were many staff standing at the front desk and they responded very quickly. Check-in was done using a pen on a tablet-type device. Pepper the robot gave various informations to the guests.

Access

Exit from the Southern Terrace Exit where Shinjuku Station Busta is located, go from the Southern Terrace side, continue along the Koshu Highway toward the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, get to intersection of LUMINE and then continue towards Yoyogi.

Summary

It was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. It is close to Shinjuku Station and downtown, so it is convenient for shopping and dining in Shinjuku. The room has a desk and Wi-Fi, so I was able to work in the room. The room was quiet and I was able to sleep peacefully at night. I would like to stay here again myself, but also recommend this hotel to other people.
