Detailed review & photos “Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu”

“Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu” is connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 2.

The hotel is 7 stories tall on the West wing and is 5 stories tall on the East wing. The photo shows the building of the West Wing.

The hotel entrance is at the end of the departure lobby of Haneda Airport Terminal 2.

Once you step out of the hotel, you are already at the departure lobby, so it is very convenient for early departures and late arrivals.

At the entrance, there is a sign which shows the routes of 32 cities around the world from Haneda Airport with a three-letter code.

The front of the entrance was decorated with a sofa and a mini-airplane from Sorashido Air.

Behind the sofa was a restaurant called “Flyers Table” with a bright aand open space.

There is also a display in the lobby where you can check information about domestic flights.

The front desk is on the right after entering the hotel.

There is a window in the guest room elevator hall, and it was very bright.

You can see Tokyo Bay in the distance.

There is a bathroom and a full length mirror on the the right, and an open closet on the left.

The room was not big, but it was simple and modern and had the minimum necessary items. The bright wood-grained wall made the room refreshing.

The bed was a queen size bed.

There is a TV, table, chairs and an air purifier across the bed.

There is a picture of the airport terminal on the wall.

There was a desk stand mirror and a USB charger under the TV. There was also an outlet.

The room has a window with blinds and a blackout curtain to block light.

I could see Tokyo Bay through the roof of the airport terminal and the building in the east wing of the hotel.

I could see Tokyo Sky Tree in the distance and part of the runway as well. If you want to take a closer look at the plane, I recommend a room facing the runway in the East wing.

At night, the light leaking from the terminal and the lights on the runway were beautiful.

The lights from the city over Tokyo Bay looked beautiful.

The shower and bathtub were together.

The bathtub was pretty big.

You can remove the shower and the water pressure was just right.

Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were prepared on the bathtub.

The shower curtain was clean.

There were bath towels prepared on a rack.

Toilet with a washlet function.

Amenities were prepared on the sink. Toiletries included toothbrush sets, hairbrushes, razors, cotton, swabs, hair rubber, shower caps, and body towels. There was also a hair dryer.

There were also face towels. The bathroom door has a hook, so you can hang towels and clothes here.

There was a deodorant spray.

There were hangers.

Luggage stand and slippers.

There was a laundry bag, iron and an ironing board here.

A safe which was a type that you enter a number.

Next to the TV was a cafe corner.

There was an electric kettle and two bottles of free water.

In the drawer, an ice bucket, cups, glasses, Japanese tea and coffee were prepared.

There was nothing inside the fridge.

There was a restaurant called “Flyers Table” on the second floor near the front desk.

The restaurant was bright and open. There are three private rooms in this restaurant.

From April 2018, the scenery from inside the store has been damaged due to the influence of surrounding construction, so a screen that can enjoy various images of flights has been installed.

This restaurant is an all-day dining and is open from 5am to 12pm (last order 11:30 pm).

A wide selection of Japanese and Western à la carte menus are available, with a buffet of Japanese and Western dishes in the morning, noodles such as pasta and Chinese noodles in the morning, a la carte menu such as rice, and a lunch course.

There are vending machines on each floors.

Next to the vending machines was an ice machine, microwave oven, video on demand (VOD) viewing card vending machine where you can watch content such as movies and programs in your room.

This room had two semi double beds.

Everything other than the bed was the same as the room which I stayed in .

The room itself is an ordinary room with a bed, a table, two chairs, and a TV.

The feature of this room is the view on the runway. You can enjoy the airplane taking off from the runway to the sky and the also the view of Tokyo Bay.

The feature of this room is that a first class seat is set in the room. There is only one room in this hotel that is this style.

First class seats placed by the window! When the seat is turned on, it becomes flat with a fully automatic method. You can enjoy a luxurious space just like a private room.

Outside the window is the runway, so you can sit in a first class seat and watch the planes! It would be an interesting experience even if you are not a fan of planes.

This room is equipped with a flight simulator that mimics the Boeing 737-800 and was just made in July 2019.

A 90-minute flight simulator experience plan that allows you to experience airplane operation under the guidance of an instructor who is familiar with the equipment, including the former captain who actually has flight experience, and an accommodation plan (sitting on the seat in the simulator and instruments) you can enjoy the view of the sky at Haneda Airport seen from the cockpit.

Because it is a hotel at the domestic terminal, most of the customers were Japanese. From around spring 2020, part of Terminal 2 will be compatible with international flights, so the number of foreigners is likely to increase in the future.
