"Coco Garden Resort Okinawa" is a resort hotel located in Uruma City. Even though the hotel is build in a small residential area, the trees planted everywhere around the hotel created a tropical feeling. The rooms are surrounded with tropical plants and there is a pool at the back of the courtyard. It is a hotel reccomended to those who want a relaxing retreat. The rooms are big and perfect for staying with a large number of people. If you stay in a cottage, you can even drive your car straight to the entrance.

The lobby had a tropical atmosphere.
There were a lot of tables and chairs lined up.
Check-in is done at the table with tea and snack.
There were pants and trees everywhere.
This is the cottage type room, so you can drive straight up to the entrance.
I stayed in a garden view room.

What is the Deluxe Garden View Room like?
Guest room entrance door.
The key was not a card, so if you put the key into the key hole the lights in the room will turn.
There was a bathroom and closet on the right and a full length mirror on the left.
The room had a high ceiling and was spacious. The furniture in the room is based on palm leaves and banana leaves as a motif, creating a resort style.
There was a ceiling fan.
Two semi-double beads.
A bedside table between the two beds.
Phone, memo-set and a lamp
There are outlets on the bedside table, so you can charge your devices.
TV and dresser across the bed.
There was a speaker that plays CDs and radio. You can rent CDs at the library.
An aroma pot. You can buy aroma at the shop in the hotel.
There were pajamas in a drawer under the TV.
There was a box to store your belongings.
A luggage stand next to the TV.
A table and two chairs
The room seen from the window.
There was a balcony.
The balcony had a view of the garden.
The trees made me forget that the hotel was built in a residential area.

There was a sink across the bathroom door.
The bathtub/wash area was divided from the sink area with a door.
The bathtub was big and I was able to relax with my feet extended.
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were provided.
There was a wash area with a stool and a bucket.

The toilet had a washlet function.
The counter was big with a double sink.
Towels
Amenities included a bath salt, tooth brush set, shower cap, razor, and comb. In the evening, I took a bath with bath salt.

I had breakfast at “Macan Macan.”
There was an open kitchen.
Breakfast was served buffet style and many of the dishes used local ingredients.

You can have freshly squeezed orange juice.

There was an outdoor pool. Relaxing music was playing under water.
There were parasols and deck chairs on the poolside.
The pool was lit up at night. It is open from 9am to 10pm.
You can borrow floats. There is also a life guard always standing by the pool.
There was also a tennis court. You can play tennis at night as well. You can borrow rackets and shoes for free.
There was a library. There were books, photo books and CDs.

Hotel Surroundings
The hotel is located in a residential area, and if you are driving, you are likely to miss the entrance, but turn left at “Iha Pharmacy” as a landmark. There are no convenience stores nearby, so it is better to buy food and drinks before heading to the hotel.

Staff and Guests
There were several staff standing at the front desk, so check-in went smoothly. Staff will take you to your room on a cart. If you want to drive up to the cottage by car you can go to the front desk once, check in and head to the room. Most of the guests were Japanese and those living in Okinawa. I saw many families staying.

Access
I arrived by car from Naha Airport in about an hour. There are no shuttle busses that take you directly to the hotel, so you will have to transfer busses at “Renaissance Resort Okinawa.” It is more convenient to rent a car.

Summary
“Coco Garden Resort Okinawa” is a hotel that is recommended to stay at the end of your trip to enjoy a relaxing time and rest your body. Even though it is in the middle of town there are trees and tropical flowers planted everywhere, creating a resort feeling. The room was a little old, but it was cleaned very well. You will have to drive a little ways to get to the beach, but there is a pool, tennis court, library, table tennis table and a spa, so you can enjoying yourself without having to leave the hotel. There was free Wifi, but it was not very fast, so it may be a good chance to stay away from the internet and social media and just enjoy your self at a nice hotel.
