I chose "Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel" because I had to work at Ebisu I thought it would be convinient to stay at a hotel in Shibuya for easy transportation. If I am going to stay at a hotel, I thought why not book a room with a good night view, and this hotel was perfect for that.

As you go down the spiral staircase, you will see a spacious lounge.
The lobby is spacious and very modest. It was a very relaxing area.
Because the front desk is large and many staffs are standing there, check-in and check-out went smoothly without having to wait.

What is the Superior King Room like?
Guest room entrance.
The room had a large window and I was able to enjoy saying in a room in a tall building. The decorative items such as paintings were not flashy, so the interior was business like and simple.
The king-size bed had presence and it stood out in the room.
The entire room.
The entrance area.
Because I was planning to work in the room, I was disappointed that there was no work desk but only a round table.
The TV seen from the bed.
Sofa.
The bed was king size and big enough to roll around, and it was just the right hardness and very comfortable.
Room window.
Because there are no tall buildings standing nearby, the view from the large window was very nice and I was able to see the city of Shibuya.
At night, the highway lights up and the contrast with the surrounding dark building shadows were striking.

Restaurants and shops in the hotel
I did not eat at any of the restaurants this time. It seemed like you can choose between a Western-style buffet and a Japanese set meal.
Chinese cuisine “Szechwan Restaurant Chen.”
Jazz club “JZ Brat SOUND OF TOKYO.”
There were shops such as an accessory boutique and a flower shops which are good places to buy gifts.
A florist called “Hibiya Flower Bed.”
There was a beauty clinic.
There was also an art gallery where you can drop buy freely during your stay.

Facilities in the hotel
You can not go outside, but you can see the garden from the lounge. Stones are set up in a steps making the garden look bigger. There were no flowers in the garden, and mainly trees but the garden looked fresh.

Environment around the hotel
Because it is along the highway, it is less cluttered compared to Shibuya Station area. It is a little sad walking along the highway to the hotel because it is a little dark, and I was concerned about security especially at night.
You need to cross over to the hotel side by overpass when coming from the Shibuya station area because there is no pedestrian crossing on the road.
There are not many tall buildings around, so the hotel stood out very much.

Access
The nearest station is Shibuya Station, so access is good by JR, Metro, or by bus. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the station and it is uphill, so it my be a little inconvenient to walk if you have a lot of luggage.
There are many shops and restaurants around so you will have no trouble finding places to shop and eat.

Staff and customer base
The hotel staffs are all friendly and will treat you kindly with a smile. Some staffs talked very quietly so I had trouble hearing what they were staying.
There were many foreign families staying. Guests staying for business seemed to be mostly Japanese.

Summary
There were good things and bad things about this hotel. First of all, compared to foreign-affiliated hotels, the service was very Japanese. There were many amenities prepared which was nice but wasting at the same time.
This time I stayed here to also enjoy food around the hotel, so it was a perfect place to enjoy eating. It is in a very convenient location. Both the facilities and rooms in the building have no fancy decorations which was simple and nice.
