The “Asakusa Tobu Hotel” is a hotel that will open on October 8, 2020. It is located in the center of Asakusa. There are 253 guest rooms of various types, most of which have a bathroom with a wash area and a toilet and sink that are separate. I visited the pre-opening exhibition because it is the only hotel in Tokyo's 23 wards that has a "Hello Kitty Room."

The hotel is located in front of Asakusa Station on the Tobu Line which is the center of Asakusa Station.
It is a new hotel, so the building was a beautiful.

“Sakura Tennyo” is a girly room based on pastel pink, and it was a very cute dream-like room in which Hello Kitty, cherry blossoms and pink were fused in a room that incorporated Japanese style like Asakusa. It was a spacious room with a space of 35.7 square meters and 4 semi-double size beds and a tatami-style space.

There was a Hello Kitty dressed as a three-dimensional celestial maiden.

There was a bedside table with drawers with ribbon shaped handles no it. There was a USB port, outlet and a light switch on the table.

This was a tatami room where you can sit and relax. The tatami mats are pink, the cushions on the chairs are in the shape of cherry blossoms, and the lights and shoji windows are decorated with cherry blossoms as well.

It is a modern Japanese style room based on a soothing, astringent pink color, with a high-colored atmosphere that is typical of Asakusa. The room is 35.7 square meters wide with four semi-double size beds and a living room.

What is the Deluxe Forth Room like?
This is a modern Japanese style room with four beds, and the room itself was almost the same as the Hello Kitty “Japanese modern” Room. It was a simple, calm and chic Japanese style room.
There were four semi-double size beds perfect to stay as a family.

What is the Deluxe King Double Room like?
The “Deluxe King Double Room” is a spacious 32.6 m² room with a 200cm wide king size bed.
As it is a corner room, there were two windows facing different directions. You can enjoy a nice view of Asakusa from the upper floors.
The bathroom was spacious with a washing area and a window with a view of the city. You can spend a relaxing bath time while enjoying the view overlooking Sensoji Temple.

There was a restaurant serving breakfast and lunch.
It was a spacious restaurant with sunlight coming in from the big windows.
I recommend the rice balls that the chef makes in front of you, and you can choose your favorite ingredients on the spot.

Hotel Surroundings
The hotel is located in the center of Asakusa, and is close to popular attractions in Asakusa, such as the Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. There are many restaurants, convenience stores and drugstores around the station, so you will have no inconvenience during your stay.
It is a 2-3 minute walk to the Kaminarimon.
The Sky Tree is also within walking distance from the hotel.

Staff and Guests
The staff were all polite and pleasant to interact with. Some rooms can accommodate up to four people, so I would imagine many families and groups of friends staying at this hotel.

Access
Asakusa Station on the Tobu Line is right in front of the hotel, and Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Toei Asakusa Line is also nearby (a few minutes on foot). It is a 10-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express, and is easily accessible by various routes near the station. You can get from Haneda Airport/Narita Airport to Asakusa without changing trains.

Most of the rooms have a bathroom with a washing area and a sink and toilet in a separate room. Also, the Hello Kitty room was so cute that excited me. There is no doubt that you will have an extraordinary stay. The hotel is located near Asakusa Station, so you can travel around very easily.
