"Unwind Hotel & Bar Sapporo" is a hotel that is a lodge or cottage style. Located about a 4-minute walk from Nakajima Koen Station on the subway Namboku Line, it is within walking distance to Susukino and is highly convenient. It is a hotel recommended for both business and for sightseeing.

The hotel is a 10-story building conveniently located a 4-minute walk from Nakajima Koen Station and a 10-minute walk from Susukino Station.

Based on the concept of an “urban lodge” it is a popular hotel for enjoying a lodge-like atmosphere while in the city.

The entrance was not big.

There were sofas by the entrance and the front desk on the right. The lobby was warm, surrounded with bricks and wood.

What is the Hollywood Twin Room like?

The room number was above the door.

There was a hanging space on the right and a toilet and full length mirror on the left.

My room was a twin room, so there were two beds in the bedroom.

The rooms was only 25 square meters wide, but it had a warm and calm atmosphere.

The shower was a removable hand shower and the water pressure was strong enough.

There was shampoo, conditioner body soap and a hand cream prepared on the sink.

There was also a toothbrush set, razor, hairbrush, hairband, cotton swab, two paper cups and a hair dryer.

Closet and safe

There was no closet, but there was a hanging space at the entrance with three hangers. There was also a shoe horn hanging.

Cups and bags were made so that it would blend in well with the lodge style interior. There was also a flash light and a fabric mist.

Restaurants in the hotel

There was a bar called “IGNIS” on the 10th floor which is the top floor of the hotel. The interior was antique style and was very stylish. Guests can enjoy wine from 17:00.

There is also a rooftop terrace with a bonfire in the center brighting up the area.

In the morning, breakfast is delivered to your room. It is in a picnic basket like it would be like when you are outdoors.

Soup and bread uses Hokkaido ingredients. You can toast your bread with the toaster in your room, and also make your own coffee.

Staff and Guests

There were many young staff working at this hotel. They responded vey well. There seemed to be many foreign guests staying. According to the staff, about 80% of the guests are foreigners depending on the time of year.

Access

It is about a 4-minute walk from Nakajima Koen Station on the subway Namboku Line. There is also a bus stop for a bus that will take you to Chitose Airport.

Summary

I had a nice stay at this hotel. The hotel was originally a business hotel, so the rooms were a little small, but I enjoyed the lodge style interior and the warm atmosphere. It was a very interesting experience for me. The bar “Ignis” was also very nice. I enjoyed a nice drink at the fire pit. Why don’t consider staying at this hotel for your trip to Sapporo?
