"Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu" is located in the center of Sapporo, a 3-minute walk from the nearest station, Nakajima Koen Subway Station, within walking distance to Susukino and convenient for visiting tourist destinations in Sapporo. Nakajima Park is right by the hotel, so you can enjoy nature even while in the city.

The hotel was located off the main street. It was a tall building, so I had no trouble finding it.

The room was spacious and very relaxing.

Amenities included a toothpaste set, razor, hairbrush, body towel, swab, cotton, and a hairband. There was also a Panasonic hair dryer.

“Karamatsu” with a Japanese meal set. I had breakfast at “Karamatsu.”

Hotel Surroundings

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk to the center of Susukino, and there are convenience stores, drug stores, and many restaurants nearyby. It is close to downtown, but also close to Nakajima Park, so you enjoy nature as well.

Nakajima Park is famous for its cherry blossoms in the spring and the beautiful colors of the leaves in autumn.

Staff and Guests

The staff were nice and polite. I went to the hotel before check-in time, but the room was ready so I was able to check in sooner. As for the guests, there were more foreign tourists staying compared to Japanese tourists.

Access

It was about a 3-minute walk from Exit 2 of the nearest station, Nakajima Koen Station, on the subway Namboku Line. It is about a 10-minute walk from Susukino Station. There is also a free shuttle bus that runs between Sapporo Station and the hotel.

Summary

I had a nice stay at “Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu.” It was close to the station and a short walk away from Susukino. The lobby was nice and the room was big and relaxing. The bathroom was a little old, but the view from the room was nice and the staff were very attentive, so I had a wonderful stay.
