I decided to stay at “La Gent Stay Sapporo Odori” because of the convenient location, reasonable price and how new it was. This hotel is located near the main street, so it is easy to access sightseeing spots. There was a public bath in the hotel, which was also why I was interested in staying at this hotel.
What is the appearance of the hotel? Check the entrance and reception
The hotel was a 14-story gray building that was a 5-minute walk from Odori Station and Susukino Station.
Those who came by car can park their car at the parking lot. 40 cars can be parked and guests can park for 1800 yen per night (usually 2200 yen).

There were big windows in the lobby, so it was bright during the day. The lobby haddark brown walls creating a chic atmosphere.
The front desk was at the back of the lobby. The wooden design behind the front desk was very interesting.

What is the Superior Twin Room like?
Only a year has passed since the hotel opened, so the room was new and clean. There was plenty space to open up my suitcases and I enjoyed the bright colors used here and there in the room. It was comfortable room to stay in, but unfortunately my room was near the elevators, so it was a bit disappointing that I could hear voices in the hallway.
The bed was a Hollywood twin style with two 110cm wide beds. The mattress was just the right hardness and I could sleep well. There were both soft and hard pillows.
Pajamas were prepared on the bed.
Across the bed was a TV and air purifier.
Next to the window was an arm chairs and a table.

I could see the ferris wheel in Novelsa, a commercial complex in Susukino.

Bathroom
There was a shower integrated bathtub in the bathroom.
The bathtub was deep.
The shower was a removable hand shower and the temperature was easy to adjust.
DHC shampoo, conditioner and body soap were provided on the bathtub.
There was a hand soap, toothbrush, hairbrush, cotton swab, razor, body sponge, and a shower cap prepared next to the sink,
The toilet was separate with the bathroom.
The toilet had a washlet function.

Closet and safe
There was an open closet at the entrance. There were hangers, deodorant spray, shoe horn, clothes brush slippers and a baggage rack in the closet. You can also use the iron and trouser press prepared in the elevator hall.

There was a cafe corner next to the TV. There was an electric kettle, coffee maker, cups, glasses and two free bottles of water.

Restaurants and shops in the hotel
There was an all-day dining called “Northern Kitchen” on the second floor.
You can enjoy Japanese and Western breakfast unique to Hokkaido served buffet style.
There was also a bar called “Sovereign.” It looked very relaxing inside.

There was a natural hot spring on the 3rd and 5th floor. There are no towels provided here, so you will need to bring your own from your room.
There was a gallery in the hotel. There were antiques and photos on display.

The staff were very warm, courteous and provided great service. I checked in at the same time as a group of tourists. I did not see any of the other guests.

Access
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Odori Subway Station and Susukino Station. Tanukikoji Tram and Nishi 4-chome is also 5 minutes away on foot, so it was very convenient. I came by car, so I was grateful that there was parking at the hotel.

Summary
I had a nice to stay at this hotel. It was new, clean and beautiful. The price was reasonable for a nice hotel. I was grateful that Odori Park and Susukino, Tanukikoji are within walking distance. There was a restaurant on the basement floor of the hotel which I enjoyed going to during my stay. I would love to stay here again.
