"ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Sapporo" is a hotel located in the center of Sapporo. It reopened in December 2017 as ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel. A 7-minute walk from Sapporo Station, the hotel is conveniently located near tourist attractions such as Odori Park, Sapporo Clock Tower, and the Old Hokkaido Government Red Brick Government Building.

What is the Refresh Standard Twin Room like?

There was a bathroom on the right and a closet on the left.

The room was 21 square meters wide, and it was spacious. The rooms were renovated in 2019, so it was very new and clean.

The beds were a single and not very big, but the mattress was comfortable to sleep on.

There was an outlet, USB port and a light switch on the headboard and an alarm clock on the bedside table.

There were many buildings around the hotel, so the view was not good. If you are staying at a higher floor, you may have a view of the city of Sapporo.

Hotel Surroundings

The hotel is located in the center of Sapporo, close to Sapporo Station, but was a little far from the downtown area. There are many shops around the hotel, such as convenience stores and restaurants, and also sightseeing spots such as Sapporo Clock Tower, Odori Park, Former Hokkaido Government Office Building.

Staff and Guests

The staff were nice and polite. As for the guests, there seemed to be both tourists from overseas and Japanese tourists. Many of them were couples or families, but I saw some guests staying on a business trip.

Access

The hotel is about a 7 minute walk from JR Sapporo station and the subway exit is very close. There is an airport bus stop in front of the hotel, providing easy access to the airport.

Summary

I had a nice stay at “ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Sapporo.” It was close to both Sapporo Station and Odori Station, so it was in a convenient location with good access. Also, the rooms were recently renovated, so they were very clean and comfortable to stay in. Breakfast was delicious, staff were nice and I had a wonderful stay.
