"Hotel MyStays Sapporo Nakajima Park" is located in front of Nakajima Park. It is within walking distance to downtown Susukino, but is still in a quiet and calm environment. The hotel is conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from the nearest Horohirabashi Station and a 10-minute drive from Sapporo Station. The hotel had been renovated in 2016 and is a new and stylish hotel.

The hotel was a stylish 7-story building.

There was an amenity shelf next to the front desk. There was cleansing, facial cleansing, lotion, emulsion, hair brush, pocket tissue, shower cap, cotton set, body towel, razor, shaving cream, split chopsticks, laundry bag, etc.

What is the Standard Double Room like?

You cannot wear your shoes on the carpet and slippers were prepared at, so entrance.

The room was not big, but there was a bed, desk and a sofa and I was able to relax.

The interior was unified with chic colors, and it was a stylish room with a calm atmosphere.

The bed was just the right hardness and comfortable to sleep on. There were two types of pillows, one was a memory foam pillow which felt nice to rest my head on.

There was a tooth brush set, hair brush and a cotton prepared on the sink. You can get other necessary amenities at the lobby.

The bathtub/shower was a little narrow.

The shower was a removable hand shower. The water pressure was not very strong, but I was able to wash comfortably.

Hotel Surroundings

The Nakajima Park was beautiful and very relaxing. The hotel was within walking distance to Susukino, and the station was near and convenient to get around to places.

A convenience store located a 5 minute walk away, but it closes at 11pm, so it may be a little inconvenient if you need to go shopping after midnight.

Staff and Guests

The staff were very kind. They explained about the amenities and gave me directions to tourist destinations.

There were many Asian, European and American and Japanese tourists. I saw some families staying, but there were mainly people staying on a business trip.

Access

The nearest station was Horohirabashi Station on the Subway Namboku Line, about a 3-minute walk away. Nakajima Koen Station is a 10 minute walk away. From Sapporo station, Horohirabashi station was 6 minutes without transfer, and it was about 10 minutes by car from JR Sapporo station which was very convenient.

Horohirabashi Station is located next to Nakajima Park.

Exit the station at Horohirabashi and the hotel is located straight ahead. You can take a walk in the park as you go towards the hotel.

Summary

I had a nice stay at this hotel. The hotel was located a little ways from downtown, but it was a short walk to Susukino, so it was still convenient. The hotel its self and the room was stylish and the atmosphere was nice and I had a comfortable stay. The fact that there was a self-laundry and microwave in the hotel was a plus. The staff were also kind and I was able to spend a very relaxing time.
