Halekulani is a top class hotel located on the west side of Waikiki Beach. Each room has a spacious veranda where you can relax. All rooms have a luxurious private bathroom with luxury bathrobes, luxury toiletries, marble vanity, deep soaking bathtub and separate glass shower.
 

The room was clean and well kept. When I entered the room I was overwhelmed by the blue sea and the sky and I made me think that booking a room on the oceanfront was a good idea. All in all, it is a refreshing room coordinated with light blue and white. The rooms, the balcony, the closet, the bathroom and the toilet are all spacious and comfortable to use.

This time it was an oceanfront, so the view was great! A great location with a view of the ocean and the sky in Hawaii. This balcony was my favorite place in the hotel.

The hotel stands like a castle, and had a strong admiration in the history and style height different from the surrounding hotels. Also, it is in a good location facing the Waikiki Beach, it is near the downtown area, and the trolley stop is nearby so transportation is convenient.

The Banyan Wing was the first building in history, and it was retro-style like an old castle. The room was spacious and there was still enough space even with the suitcases opened up.

Chairs are located by the pool and you can sit for free wherever you like. As you can swim in the pool from 7 o’clock in the morning, there were many people who came earlier and saved seats. For chairs with canopy, you will need to book it and pay money.

“The Grand Islander by Hilton Grand Vacations” is one of Hilton’s timeshare program properties. This time, I stayed with a friend who is a member. The Grand Islander is a very clean hotel with a lagoon and a nice swimming pool, and it is close to Ala Moana and Waikiki Beach. There are a lot of shops in the Hilton hotel, so it’s a good place to go shopping.

There was a living room and a kitchen which was very spacious, and the view from the balcony was amazing.

The “Hilton Grand Vacations” is the closest to the center of Waikiki among Hilton vacation clubs, and it is very convenient. With a kitchen and all the necessary utensils and dishes, you can cook like you do at home. Not only the restaurants but also the ingredients of the local supermarkets can be fully enjoyed. Although it is not a beachside, the rooftop pool has a small number of people and you can relax.

Kitchen utensils are fulfilling, and most things are stored in the storage shelf, so it looked clean. There was a microwave, freezer, fridge, everything you need to cook.

The bed was just the right hardness. If you like hard mattresses, it may feel a little softer. The sheets were smooth and comfortable.

“Trump International Hotel Waikiki” is a 5-minute walk from Waikiki Beach and has an outdoor pool, fitness gym and spa. Luxury rooms with a kitchens are also available. Authentic American cuisine can be enjoyed at the steakhouse restaurant. Ala Wai Golf Course is 2 miles away, and Waikiki Aquarium is 3 minutes away.

If you go up to the 6th floor from the entrance, it changes into an open-air space where you can feel the refreshing breeze.

It was a rare spacious room for a hotel in Waikiki. The bed was soft and fluffy. There were both hard pillows and soft pillows so I was able to pick one that suited my taste.

The Sheraton Waikiki Hotel is an oceanfront hotel at the heart of Waikiki Beach, a large resort hotel with 1,636 rooms. Near the hotel is the Royal Hawaiian Center with DFS Galleria and luxury boutiques, which can be reached on foot. In addition, there are shops and restaurants in the hotel which is very convenient.

The guest room was spacious and clean. There was enough space to open up the suitcases, and it was easy to pack what I bought.

“Sheraton Waikiki” is famous for the infinity pool. You can swim while looking at the sea. I could borrow a towels and a yellow float. I was allowed to take the towel out to the sea us long as I returned it to the hotel.

Prince Waikiki is a few minutes’ walk from Ala Moana Beach and Waikiki Beach. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Hawaii’s tourist attractions, which is available for hotel guests. The hotel has a spa and fitness centre. There are several restaurants in the hotel.
 

The lobby is crowded with people waiting to check-in and check-out and also waiting for tour buses before and after lunch, but there are plenty of couches and chairs to sit on so you can relax. The object in the lobby was wonderful.

The room was simple with a high ceiling and a large space. The bed creaked sometimes, and the mattress was firm, but I slept comfortably.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is a Hawaiian resort hotel located on the shores of Waikiki Beach. It has over 20 restaurants and lounges, 90 shops and boutiques, and a family friendly pool. Spacious guest rooms have large windows and a view of the ocean.

The guest room was simple and refined. The cleaning was thorough and the bedding and amenities were nicely prepared. The bed was very comfortable. The mattress was just right, so I was able to sleep very well.

The view from the terrace was very nice. I could see the sea and pool, and I was able to enjoy the scenery of emerald green during the day.

A lot of palm trees are planted around the pool, and it was just like an oasis in the jungle.

“Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa” is built on Waikiki Beach and is a 1-minute walk away. The hotel has a freshwater outdoor pool, a heated pool, restaurants and a shop selling souvenirs. There is a new cultural center, Ho’okela, where you can experience hula, ukulele lessons, lei making and other Hawaiian experiences. All rooms have balconies and free Wi-Fi which is attractive.

Although the room is not new, the condition is good, clean and is big enough.

You can see the sunset over the diamond head and it was a great atmosphere. There were many bars along the beach, so you can spend a relaxing time, and there were a lot of people playing on the beach until night time.

“Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk” is a 3-minute walk from Waikiki Beach and is a luxurious Hawaiian building. All rooms consist of suites, each with a living room, kitchen and a balcony. There is an outdoor pool on the open terrace on the 4th floor, and there is also a jacuzzi and a kids pool.

The room I booked had a city view, but from the living room I was lucky to be able to see a little bit of the hotel pool and the beach. The bed mattress was just right. The cover was not too thin so I did not get cold.

Although, it was not very large, there was an outdoor pool. Towels can be borrowed by the pool. There were many families with kids, friends and coupled swimming in the pool until late at night.

The Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club has recently been renewed and its interiors are popular on SNS, featuring handmade furniture, custom tiled bathroom floors, and eclectic artwork. The location is convenient for shopping and trolley sightseeing in the center of Waikiki.

The room was decorated with art, and the TV stand, walls, and furniture were unified with wood, making it a stylish atmosphere. Also, the bed was clean and I was able to sleep well.

The pool was in the middle of the hotel. It was small, but everyone was lying and relaxing on the beach bed by the pool.

“Sheraton Princess Kaiulani” is located across Waikiki Beach and within walking distance from major shopping facilities and beaches such as T Galleria, International Shopping Centre, Macy’s and Waikiki Beach Walk.

All I wanted was a comfortable room to relax and sleep in, so I did not mind what the view was like, but over all it was better than I expected. The bed was a little high, but it was comfortable to sleep on. The bed itself was large, and the cushion was not too soft and not too hard, so it was very nice.

There is a private pool in the hotel courtyard. It seemed to be popular with families with children.

“Holiday Inn Express Waikiki” is a comfortable business hotel with modern interiors, bright rooms and free breakfast, and it is a 10 minutes’ walk from Waikiki Beach and International Marketplace. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, a 9-hole mini golf course, and many other activities.

The Deluxe King Room was not big, but the bed was comfortable to sleep on. Personally I liked the hardness of the pillow, and I was able to sleep well with a soft and sinking feeling. The mattress is a little hard and the bed was relatively high.

As the building itself is quite tall with 44 floors, the view looks better as you go higher. It would have been nicer if there was a balcony.

“Aston Waikiki Sunset” has a condominium-type room with a kitchen, refrigerator, table and sofa bed, so you can stay like it is your home. This hotel is located next to Honolulu Zoo and is a 5-minute walk away from Waikiki Beach.

My first impression was that the room is beautiful and big. The windows are large and tall, so it felt open and I was also able to see the outside scenery clearly.

There was a closet in the bedroom, and the iron and ironing board were installed in the closet, and there was a locker on the lower side. The impression is that there was more space than necessary because the height and width was sufficient.

“Ala Moana Hotel” has good access to the airport and to Waikiki, and also the Ala Moana Shopping Center and Ala Moana Beach is close. Because there are many rooms in this hotel, it was easy to make a reservation. In addition, the facilities in the hotel are well-equipped, and there are not only a restaurants but also a gym, a bar, a shop and so on.

The room is large enough for two people, but it may be small for people who are planning to spend a long time at the hotel. The blanket was very warm because it stuck to my body and did not let any cold air get through. Because the pillows were just the right hardness, it did not hurt my neck.

There was an outdoor pool on the third floor of the hotel. The poolside deck is very large and there are many chairs so you can relax on. There were many people swimming in the pool, including local people.

“Ambassador Hotel Waikiki” is located a 5-minute walk away from Waikiki Beach, with convenient Waikiki trolleys and buses that pick you up in front of the hotel. The hotel has an outdoor pool, fitness gym and play area. There is also a convenience store selling snacks and daily necessities. There is also a laundry room and a business center.
 

At first glance, the hotel felt more like an apartment, but the rooms had all the necessities so it was enough for just sleeping.

The room has a terrace. Because the hotel is located closer to the sea, you may be able to see the sea from in between the other buildings.

“Polynesian Residences Waikiki” is located within a 10-minute walk from the center of Waikiki, and it was built in a safe area.

The bed was fluffy and just the right hardness. There were four pillows on each bed and there were two types of hardness, so I was able to sleep comfortably.

Around the hotel, there were drugstores, ABC mart, ramen shop, Eggsund singles, Bills and etc. I felt safe because it was crowded even at night. Most shops close at midnight, but there is a Seven Eleven in a place about 2 minutes on foot from the hotel, so it was very convenient to go for dinner when I was hungry. I walked around the hotel in the middle of the night, but I didn’t feel any danger.
