Detailed review & photos “Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk”

The hotel is adjacent to Waikiki Beach Walk, and the tower was divided.

At the entrance, there were a lot of well-maintained tropical plants.

There was a big sign at the entrance.

The entrance was very clean.

There are always two staffs at the front desk, and I was able to talk to them and get instructions without having to wait.

There was a sofa, a chair and a table in front of the front desk.

Guest room elevator hall. Ice was prepared on each floor and immediately after getting off the elevator. It was convenient to be able to put some in the ice bucket.

Once in the room, there was a kitchen on the right.

Pass by the kitchen and there is a living room.

The rooms was not new, but it was clean and tidy. There was enough space to stay with three family members and there was no cramped feeling at all. However, since there was no lighting to illuminate the whole room, and all were indirect lighting, it felt a little dark at night.

The bedrooms were separate, so I could watch TV and talk without worrying about waking up my child.

The room had a veranda and I was able to go out from both the living room and bedroom.

I booked a room with a city view, but from the living room I was lucky to be able to see a little bit of the hotel pool and the beach. The veranda has 4 chairs and 2 tables, and it’s nice to go out with a little drink. It was very beautiful at night because I could see the night city view.

The mattress was just right. The cover was not too thin so I did not get cold. In addition, the hotel prepared a bed guard for the baby.

Across the bed was a dresser, chairs, a TV and a closet.

The bathroom was large and spacious, even with a bathtub, toilet and a washbasin.

There was a bathtub on the left side.

Because the bathtub was large, it was easy to wash my child in the bath.

As shower was movable, it was easy to use. However, I felt that the water pressure was not strong enough.

The wash basin was large, and I could store cosmetics and washroom items for my family.

Under the wash basin, there was a hair dryer and extra toilet papers.

Amenities were shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, bath soap, and hand soap prepared for the number of adults staying. Bath soap, body lotion, and hand soap are not particularly a good brand, but they were not bad to use. There were no shower caps, razors or body towels. Even though the room was being cleaned everyday, the towels were not renewed.

There was also a hair dryer. However, it was necessary to dry my hair in the bedroom or the living room because the outlet of the bathroom did not work for the hairdryer.

There was a closet by the bedroom window.

In the closet, there was an iron, an ironing board, slippers, a luggage stand, a spare cover and hangers. Thanks to the extra cover, it was nice to be able to adjust the temperature. There were many hangers, and I could hang all the dresses I brought and clothes I didn’t want getting wrinkled.

The safe is a type that you decide your own 4 digits.

There was a kitchen on the right side immediately after entering the room.

A microwave and a refrigerator was installed.

There was nothing inside the refrigerator.

There was a cafe corner on the kitchen stand. The cafe corner had a coffee maker, an electric kettle, paper cups, green and black tea, sugar, milk and a muddler. However, since the electric kettle was a little old and the stains were noticeable, when I used it for the first time, I had to rinse it.

Guests are able to have a buffet breakfast for free.

The menu changes little by little every day, but since there is no big change, I got a little tired of it after a while.

There was also salad, fruit and yogurt.

There was a corner where the chef made an omelet in front of you, choosing the ingredients you like, and there was always a long line. The taste was delicious and I was able to enjoy changing the ingredients every day.

There was a reception by the pool every day from 17:30 to 19:30.

The reception offers free drinks such as beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks.

There were also snacks were free as well.

Although, it was not very large, there was an outdoor pool. Towels can be borrowed by the pool.

There is also a Jacuzzi next to the pool, so it was very convenient when the water in the pool was cold and when we wanted to warm up at the end. There was a chair with a parasol, a table set, but it was popular and it was hardly vacant. The seat without parasol was available.

As it is available until 21:00 at night, it was used by many families, couples and friends, including children, until late. Especially at night, it was windy and the water temperature was low, so there were many people in the jacuzzi. In the evening, the poolside was lit up and had a nice atmosphere. I could see a little bit of the beach from the pool and I was able to see the beautifully colored ocean during sunset.

There was also a fitness center.

The fitness center is available 24 hours a day.

There seemed to be many rich families staying.

Small daily necessities, drinks, etc. were very convenient because there is an ABC store and a nearby convenience store within a 3-minute walk. We could go to the beach in about 5 minutes and the access to the sea was good. In addition, as it was around 7 minutes on foot to the place where the platform of the trolley is, and it was nice when we wanted to go a little further.
