"The Laylow, Autograph Collection" is a 16 story hotel located on Kuhio Avenue, one street next to Kalakaua Avenue. It is a short walk from the beach and also next to the International Marketplace, a shopping mall with over 100 shops and restaurants.

Hotel exterior
There were various restaurants on the first floor of the hotel.
The lobby was on the second floor, so can take the escalator or the elevator upstairs.
There were chairs by the elevator.
The lobby was not very big.
There were fancy hanging chairs in the lobby creating a natural and modern atmosphere.
I received pineapples when checking in.
There was a concierge desk as well. It was nice to be able to ask questions and get directions during my stay.

What is the Corner Suite like?
There was a closet on the right and a bathroom on the left.
The room was 46 square meters big and very spacious. Monsteras were painted pink on the whole wall and it had a bright and tropical atmosphere.
The bed was a king size bed. The mattress was just the right hardness and was comfortable to sleep on.
There were four pillow and a pink cushion prepared on the bed. The sheets were also very clean an comfortable.
There were tables on each side of the bed. There was an alarm and an outlet/USB port on one side of the bed.
There was a sofa next to the bed.
There was a welcome basket with flip-flops, mineral water, snacks and so on prepare inside.

My room was a corner room, so I had two balconies facing different sides.

I could see a little bit of the ocean in the distance.
If I looked down I could see the outdoor pool.
The view from the other veranda was of the parking lot shopping mall “International marketplace,” so the view was not particularly nice.

Bathroom
There was a bathroom at the entrance.
There was no bathtub and only a shower room.
The shower room had a glass door. The inside was very spacious with a wooden wall.
There was a rain shower and a removable hand shower with a strong enough water pressure.
Toilet
The counter was very big with plenty of places to put my belongings.
Amenities were prepared on the counter.
Hair dryer
Plenty of extra towels were prepared under the sink.

There was an ice pale and glasses on this shelf, but no tea or coffee.
There was a fridge, but nothing was inside it.

Restaurants and shops in the hotel
There was a restaurant called the “Hideout” on the same floor as the lobby. There was a bar and a terrace creating a very casual atmosphere.
You can order drinks easily at the bar.
There were plants everywhere on the terrace.
This restaurant accepts customers who are not staying at the hotel, so it was crowded at night.
I had breakfast at this cafe in the International Marketplace.

Facilities in the hotel
There was an outdoor pool on the same floor as the lobby. There were many deck chairs, chairs and tables, gazebos and so on. It was very relaxing to sit by the pool and swim in the water.
The hotel was serving shaved ice service only between 13:00-14:00 at the poolside and it was delicious!
The pool was lit up at night and was very beautiful.
There was also a gym that is open 24 hours a day.

There were many restaurants, cafes and small shops along Kuhio Street which the hotel faces.

Staff and Guests
The staff were all very nice. There were mostly Americans and Japanese staying in the hotel. They were mainly young couples other than families with children.

Access
It is about 30 minutes by car from Honolulu Airport to Waikiki Beach. The hotel has its own parking lot (charged), so you can rent a car if necessary.

Summary
I had a nice stay at The Reylow Autograph Collection. The room was clean and spacious, and the views was very nice. It was only 10 minutes on foot to get to Waikiki Beach which was very convenient. Because the hotel is located in the central area of Waikiki, so it is a convenient hotel to stay at for dining and shopping. I recommended staying here when visiting Waikiki!
