"Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger" is a 25-story hotel located next to the International Marketplace, along Kalakaua Avenue in the heart of Waikiki. The hotel has just been renovated in 2019 and the rooms are very beautiful. The hotel also has easy access to Waikiki Beach and has very good reviews.

The hotel finished their renewal in April 2019, so it was very new and clean.
The sign with greenery behind it stood out very much.
There was a round-about at the entrance with a nice blue light.
There was an escalator leading to the 2nd floor which is where the lobby is located.
The lobby was very spacious.
There were sofas and chairs to sit on.
The front desk was blue like the ocean and was a very stylish design.
There was also a concierge desk in the lobby.

What is the Partial Ocean View King Bed Room like?
Guest room entrance door
There was a bathroom on the right and a full length mirror on the left side of the entrance.
The rooms was about 30 square meters in size which was not extremely big, but was clean and comfortable to stay in. The wall design behind the bed was a reminiscent of the beautiful Hawaiian. The room was bright and stylish with interior decoration based on the colors of the blue sea.
The bed was spacious because it was king size. The mattress was just the right hardness and was comfortable to sleep on. Four pillows and a cushion was prepared so you can sleep to your preferred height. Reading lights were on both sides of the headboard.
There were tables on both sides of the bed with an alarm/Bluetooth speaker. It was nice to be able to play my favorite music.
There were outlets and a USB port by the bed.

There was a veranda.
There were two chairs and a table prepared in the veranda.
There was a hotel blocking the view of the ocean, but I was able to see part of the ocean at the back.
The lights were beautiful at night.
The International Marketplace was lit up nicely at night.

Bathroom
There was only a shower room in the bathroom. There was also a sink, closet and a toilet in the same room.
The shower room was divided with a glass door.
The shower was a removal hand shower with a strong enough water pressure.
Two body soaps prepared in the shower room.

The mirror above the sink had a light around it.
There was only one sink, but the counter was spacious.
Tissues, a hand towels, two bar of soaps and a shower cap were provided.
There were shampoos, conditioners, and two body lotions on the shelf in front of the mirror.

Restaurants and shops in the hotel
There was an all-day dining called “Maui Brewing Company.” Happy hour and dinner is very popular here.
It was very empty during breakfast.
On the second floor was the “Hawaiian Aroma Cafe.” It was very full during breakfast hours. You can also do takeout and eat in your room.
The cafe was right by the pool.
They were serving acai bowls, pancakes and other food popular in Hawaii.
You can buy souvenirs as well.
On the second floor next to the front desk was the “beachcomber Market.” They were selling items useful for when on the beach such as sunscreen, snacks and so on.

Facilities in the hotel
There was an outdoor pool on the same second floor. There was also a jacuzzi next to the pool.
There were many deck chairs and parasols by the pool.
You can see the “Hawaiian Aroma Cafe” right next to the pool and order drinks and snacks.
There is a box full of towels by the pool. You can open it with your room key and borrow towels. It is convenient not having to bring your own towels from your room.

The staff were very kind and friendly. I saw many American and Japanese guests staying at this hotel. They were all relatively young.

It is about 30 minutes by car from Honolulu Airport to the hotel. The hotel is located along Waikiki’s main street, Kalakaua Avenue, so it is very easy to find.

Summary
I had a nice stay at the “Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger.” The hotel was just renovated, and the inside of the hotel was very new and clean. In addition, the interior decoration of the room was very nice and it felt as if I was at the beach. The hotel is located at the center of Waikiki, so it was very convenient to be able to go shopping and to get to the beach easily. This is a resort hotel that I highly recommended staying at in Hawaii Waikiki!
