What is the Two Queen Bed Partial Ocean View Room like?
Guest room entrance door.
Card key and a DVD rental card.
There was an air conditioner.
The rooms were spacious and there was plenty of space to open up my suitcase. I don’t know when this hotel was built, but it felt a little old. For me, it made it feel more like a resort hotel in Hawaii which was very exciting.
The queen bed was soft and very comfortable. There were four large pillows per bed, and there were a total of eight pillows.
There was a bedside table between the beds with a telephone, memo set, alarms and etc.
There was a TV and a desk across the bed.
TV.
Under the TV was a PlayStation 3, which could be used as a DVD player as well.
A cabinet under the TV.
There was a desk next to the TV.
There was a trash can that divides burnables and plastic.
There was a veranda.
The veranda had a small table and and two chairs. I saw a couple of bird poop on the veranda.
On the left is the Royal Hawaiian Center. You can’t see the whole view, but you can see Trump International Hotel. In front of it is a green park, and you can see the Hilton Hawaiian Village in the direction of 45 degrees. I could see the ocean as well.
There were many tall buildings around.
Unfortunately, you ca see the veranda of other rooms very well.

There was a restaurant called “Trees Restaurant & Bar” on the first floor. They serve breakfast here, but also turns into a bar in the evening.
There were no staff around and I was a little confused with the system.

Hotel surroundings
There was a homeless person sitting near the hotel. I saw the same homeless person every day. I did not feel any danger, but it would be best not to walk alone at night. There was a sports bar next door, a convenience store, ABC Mart, and Hilton Hawaiian Village which was very convenient to get to.
A convenience store a 3 minute walk away.
An ABC Mart 3 minute walk away.
A clothing shop a 3 minute walk away.

Staff and guests
The staff were helpful. I was supposed to check in at about 15:00, but I arrived around 12:00, but still got to check in. The staff greeted me every time they saw me which felt very nice.
I saw many pilots staying here. I was staying during off season, so the hotel did not seem too crowded.

Access
It was about 20 minutes by shared bus from the airport. When you arrive, it’s not a place to feel the ocean, but it feels like you’ve come to the resort somewhere in the park opposite the Hilton Hawaiian Village. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. If you want to eat at a famous restaurant, you might want to go the Hilton Hawaiian Village across the street. I could go to 7-Eleven, souvenir shop, ABC Mart in about 30 seconds which was very convenient. The Royal Hawaiian Center is about a 10-minute walk away, and the Ala Moana Shopping Center is about a 15-minute walk away. You can choose to take a bus at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in 5 minutes on foot or from the DFS or Royal Hawaiian Center. The pink trolley has a long line of people waiting, so I usually walked to places.
A takeout cafe 3 minutes away on foot.
“Tony Roma’s” was a good restaurant.

Summary
This time, I had a Hilton accommodation voucher, so I decided to stay here. The staff were very kind and greeted me with a smile. The shops are not too crowded and there are many good shops around. However, when I came to the resort, I realized that the hotel pool was not very attractive, and that I had to take my own towels. I was glad that there was a Hilton Hawaiian Village nearby, but I cannot recommend this hotel to those who are not familiar with Hawaii’s geography. Ala Moana Shopping Center and Royal Hawaiian Center were within a 15 minutes walk away, but I do not recommend walking alone at night. Overall, it is a hotel with a beautiful view of Hawaii. I recommend young tourists to stay here to enjoy their trip.
