Detailed review & photos “Ambassador Hotel Waikiki”

The hotel is clearly visible from the main street and is easily accessible by car or on foot.

The entrance is spacious and there are three different entrances.

The front desk can be seen immediately from the entrance, and if you check in at the front desk and look back, you can see the elevator and it is not a complicated lobby at all.

The elevator can not be used unless you have a card key, so security is good.

The corridor to the rooms is outside.

At first glance, the hotel seemed more like an apartment, but the rooms had all the necessities so it was enough for just sleeping. The key is a card key so I felt safe as well.

There is a TV, a small table and 3 chairs.

There is a toilet and a shower room just to the left. The room is divided into a toilet and a shower room by a wall and a curtain. There is no bathtub and only a shower. The shower was a fixed type, but I did not think that the water pressure was weak.

Only bath towels and hand towels were prepared. Guests need to bring the necessary bath amenities on their own.

In the closet there was a fridge, a microwave, a pot, an iron and an ironing board. I do not think they there would be a hanging coats and so on.

The room has a terrace. Because the hotel is located closer to the sea, you may be able to see the sea from in between the buildings.

The other side is the mountain side and there are other hotels and buildings nearby. The terrace itself is large enough to go out and enjoy the nice wind.

The pool faces the boulevard and is sunny. There is also a bench by the poolside and you can relax there. You can only swim during the day, but it lights up beautifully at night. You can go easily from the room to the pool with your swimwear.

There is a fitness gym.

There is a business center.

There is a self-service laundry room and an ice machine.

There is a coffee shop at the entrance of the hotel. From there, you can walk to the beach. It closes at 12 o’clock, but there is also a convenience store, and there is a park if you pass the traffic lights. It is easy going to the beach.

It is approximately 20 minutes by car from the airport. It’s easy to rent a car at the airport. The area around the hotel seems to have a lot of a one-way street, but it is not a complicated road. It is a 10 minute drive to Ala Moana Shopping Center, and parking lots are free at Ala Moana Beach and Ala Moana Shopping Center, so I think it’s a good place to drive a rental car.

I saw many tourists, couples, college students and business travelers staying. It seemed like most of the people staying were not planning on staying for a long time.
