The "Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel" is a luxury hotel located in the center of Taipei. It is about a 10-minute walk from Taipei Station, MRT Zendoji Station is right in front of the hotel, and there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
It is a big hotel facing the main street, so it stands out very much.

I originally booked a superior room, but since I was an elite member of Marriott, I was able to upgrade to the Premier King Room for free.

The bed was a king size bed that was soft and comfortable to sleep on.

On the wall by the desk was an outlet which was convenient.

The bathroom had grey walls which created a very calm atmosphere.
The bathtub was wide enough to stretch your legs.
There was a hand shower above the bathtub that could be removed and adjusted.
Bath towels were prepared above the bathtub.
There was also a shower room with a glass door.
Water pressure was strong enough.
A toilet with a Washlet function.
Two free bottles of water were prepared on the sink. Amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body shampoo, body lotion, toothbrush set, hair brush, cotton, swab, nail file, razor, shaving foam, shower cap and mouthwash.

Iron, ironing board, shoe horn, brush, umbrella and a safe.
The safe was a type that you punch in a number.

There was a cafe corner between the two closets with an electric kettle, ice bucket and cups prepared on top.
In the drawer, alcohol and snacks were prepared as well as free tea bags and instant coffee.
There were drinks and snacks prepared in the fridge.

This time, I ate at “Kitchen 12” for breakfast.
There is a seat in the atrium space in the center of the hotel making the space feel big.
There were dishes prepared around the seats.
Breakfast was buffet style.
Noodles and eggs cooked on the spot.

There was an outdoor pool on the roof.
There were deck chairs by the pool.
The gym is open from 6:00 in the morning to 9:00 in the evening.
There was a public phone and an ATM.

You can get to Taipei Station in about 10 minutes on foot from the hotel, and there are various department stores, cafes and restaurants around Taipei Station, so you can go shopping and eat while walking. MRT Zendoji Station is also right in front of the hotel, so it is convenient for going sightseeing.

Check-in and check-out went smoothly, and the staff were very friendly.
Most of the guests staying were Asians.

The hotel is located in the city center of Taipei, so it is easily accessible from each airport. From Taoyuan Airport, take MRT to Taipei Station and ride for less than 40 minutes, then take a taxi. It is about 20 minutes by taxi from Matsuyama Airport.

This is a long-established hotel in Taipei, the building itself is not new, but the inside of the hotel was clean. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. It is located in the center of Taipei, so it is convenient to go anywhere. I am happy that I got to stay at this hotel. I can recommended this hotel for both for business and sightseeing. I would would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity to visit Taipei.
