What is the Traditional King Bed Room like?

Guest room door.

IMG_0927-copy-copy (1)

The room was very spacious with a calm atmosphere. However, the sound of cars passing by on the street bothered me a little. Also, I could hear the sound of planes, because there was an airport nearby, but it could not be helped. I could also hear the sound of doors of other rooms closing and people passing by in the corridor.

IMG_0927-16-copy-copy

The bed was spacious and fluffy which was very nice. The pillow was not too fluffy and I could sleep well. The bedside table didn’t have an outlet plug, so I couldn’t charge my phone nearby.

IMG_0927-20-copy-copy

There was a TV and a desk across the bed.

IMG_0927-29

There was a spacious desk next to the TV, and I was able to work at ease.

Unfortunately, my room was on the 3rd floor, so the view was not great.

Bathroom

IMG_0927-15-copy-copy

There was a bathroom on the left, after entering the room. A closet and mirror were on both sides.

IMG_0927-26

The bathroom was bright and spacious. There was no bathtub in the bathroom, only a shower room. However, I was a little bothered about the smell of sewage coming from the toilet.

IMG_0927-30

The shower room had a fixed shower and the water pressure was slightly weak. The temperature was easy to adjust.

IMG_0927-32

Shampoo, conditioner and soap were prepared in the shower room. My hair felt nice the next day.

IMG_0927-28

Toilet.

IMG_0927-27

IMG_0927-19-copy-copy

IMG_0927-17-copy-copy

There were two hooks on the door and it was convenient to be able to hang towels.

Restaurants in the hotel

There was a bar called “Costero Bar” at the back of the lobby on the 1st floor. There was a large bar counter, and it was busy during dinner time.

Facilities in the hotel

IMG_0927-40

There was a large pool at the back of the lobby on the first floor. There was also a restaurant by the pool.

IMG_0927-39

There were many beach beds and sofa beds, and towels were neatly arranged. It was a little cold in September, so there were not many people swimming in the pool. The pool is open from 6am to 10pm.

IMG_0927-43

There was a gym on the 1st floor.

IMG_0927-48

It is open 24 hours a day.

Hotel surroundings

The area around the hotel was a boulevard and it was not crowded, and I especially did not see many people walking outside at night. Because I could go to the airport by shuttle, I did not have to go out in particular. Since there are no restaurants or shops nearby, it is better to do everything at the hotel.

Staff and guests

There were many guests at the time of check-in, but the procedure was fast and smooth, so I did not have to wait too long. The staff was very kind. The concierge staff was always at the desk and the boy at the entrance greeted me every time.

IMG_0927-1-copy-copy (1)

There were many elderly Western guests. I only saw one family with children. I saw many pilots and flight attendants staying.

Access

From the airport, it took less than 5 minutes on the shuttle bus. Shuttle buses leave each terminal and wait where “Hotel Shuttle” is written, and when the Sheraton bus arrives, raise your hand and they will stop. There were many other hotels around my hotel, and restaurants and shops were far away, so there weren’t many people outside. There are many shuttles to the destination if you return to the airport, and many people go by taxi or tour. Santa Monica and Venice Beach are about 20 minutes away by car, so it is easy to get to.

Summary

I had a nice stay at this hotel. I was happy to be able to get to the hotel from the airport (depending on the terminal) in about 5 minutes. There were a lot of rooms and the lobby was lively, but it was not noisy and the atmosphere was good. It was a shame that I could hear the sound of cars, planes, other guests in the hallway and from rom next to mine, but I was tired so I slept well. There was a Starbucks open from 5:00 in the lobby and was convenient for breakfast. It is not suitable for sightseeing and shopping because there are only hotels around, but it is very convenient for long flights or early morning flights. I was especially happy when I asked for amenity, and it was delivered immediately despite the large number of rooms. Service was very good and I was satisfied with my stay.
