Detailed review & photos “Residence Inn Los Angeles Burbank/Downtown”

The hotel has a chic design and matched the image of the fashionable Old Town.

There are two entrances. Perhaps because many people come by car and use the entrance on the parking lot side, the entrance on this side of the street was simple and I had a hard time finding it.

The front desk is on the left side of the entrance.

Coffee and water were prepared in front of the front desk. It is free, so I came down many times to get some coffee.

There were many sofas in the lobby.

There was also a TV. This area turns into a breakfast venue in the morning.

If you climb the stairs, you can see the pool on the second floor.

The guest room was very spacious! The view seen from the large window made the room look fabulous and I got very excited.

Right after entering the room, there was a kitchen and a dining/living room at the back.

There was a painting of California on the wall.

There were sofas by the window.

There was a TV in the living room, and there was storage space under it.

This room is a corner room, so the window was large and curved.

From the room, I was able to enjoy the view of the intersection, the mountains and the downtown in the back. Even though the hotel is located by the intersection, the sound of cars did not bother me at all.

There were two bedrooms. This is the living room on the left.

There is a king size bed in the bedroom.

The bed mattress was just right, and I was able to sleep comfortably.

Across from the bed was a TV and a desk.

There was storage space in the drawers under the TV.

The desk was built so that disabled people can sit as well.

There is a queen size bed in this bedroom.

There is storage space under the bedside table.

There was also storage space under the TV.

I could see KIEA from this room.

The bedroom on the left had a bathroom with a bathtub. Chairs and handrails were attached to the bathtub to make it easy for people with disabilities.

The bedroom on the right had a shower room with a glass door instead of a bathtub. Both water pressure and drainage was fine.

There were plenty of towels prepared on the sink.

Amenities included had soap, face cleansing, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Also, I could receive additional toothbrushes and toothpastes.

There was also a hair dryer.

There was an iron, an ironing board, and a basket in this closet. You can use this basket to go to the laundromat.

This closet had a lower hanger position to make it easier for people with disabilities. There are a lot of storage space in the room besides the closet, so I thought it would be suitable for a long stay or a stay with a large number of people. There was no safe.

Above the dining table was tea, coffee, decaf coffee, cream, sugar, salt, pepper and popcorn. Returning from the bar late at night we found out there was popcorn and enjoyed it.

There was a fridge, but there was nothing inside.

Guests staying at the hotel can have breakfast for free.

There was a shop next to the front desk.

Snacks, chocolate candy and etc.

There was also alcohol and frozen food.

There was an outdoor pool on the second floor. There are chairs by the pool, so I thought that it would be great for reading.

Just beside the pool were two BBQ stoves, a fire pit and a courtyard with tables and couches.

There were high school girls that were eating marshmallows at the fire pit at night, and I thought that it was a nice space.

There was also a fitness center. It is open 24 hours a day.

There was also a laundromat. It is $1.5 to wash clothes, and it is very cheap.

There are two computers in the lobby. It is convenient to just browse lightly.

Burbank Station which is the closet station from the hotel.

I saw many groups of people and families staying, because it is a residence inn. I also saw many college students staying to visit Universal Studios.
