I chose "Los Angeles Airport Marriott," because it is close to the airport, has a free shuttle, and is not too expensive for a Marriott hotel. I was looking for a hotel near the airport, because I was flying from Los Angeles International Airport on an early morning flight. Since there are not many shops around the airport, I liked the fact that there are many restaurants and cafes in the hotel, so I decided to stay at this hotel.

There is a fancy drive in at the entrance.
Entrance.
There was a restaurant on the right, sofas in the middle and a front desk on the left. It was beautiful and bright lobby based on white. The restaurant on the right had a bar and was crowded.
The front desk was small for the size of the hotel, but it was never too crowded and I was able to check in smoothly.

What is the Twin Room like?
Guest room door.
It was a pretty room based on white, with plenty of space to open up my suitcase and relax with two people. The lighting was indirect, but it was still very bright.
It was a twin bed room, but the size of the bed was a double size.
It was big and soft bed, and I was able to sleep very well.
There was a plug-in outlet by the bedside table and it was nice to be able to charge my phone. I could also turn the light off while laying down which was convenient.
There was a TV across the bed.
There was a desk under the TV.
There was an arm chair and a table by the window.
The window was big.
I was staying on a lower floor, so the view was not great. I could see the parking lot, but I did not hear the sound of cars from the room which was nice. I also did not hear the sound of guests in the corridor, so the room was soundproofed.

Bathroom
There was a shower with a bathtub, toilet and a sink in one room.
There was a fixed type and removable shower, but the angle of the hand shower could not be changed, so it was inconvenient. The water pressure was strong enough.
Toilet.
The sink was spacious and there was enough space for two of us to put our belongings on top. The light around the mirror was bright and there was a magnifying mirror as well.
Shampoo, conditioner, body soap and body lotion were prepared on the sink. They has an herb scent which was nice. Bathrobes, slippers and toothbrushes will be brought by housekeeping if you ask.

Closet and safe
There was a closet on the left side of the entrance.
The closet was not very big, but there were hangers, an iron and an ironing board inside.
There was no safe, but there was a drawer labeled “in room safe.” However, I could not open it.

Mini bar and cafe
There was a cafe corner next to the closet. A coffee machine, instant coffee, paper cups, etc were prepared. There was no electric kettle or tea bags.
There was a fridge, but nothing was inside.

Restaurants and shops in the hotel
I had dinner at a restaurant called “Social Market & Eatery.”
The teriyaki-flavored steak rice was very delicious.
A stylish steakhouse called “JW’s Steakhouse.”
The “Hangar 18 Bar + Kitchen” was busy at night.
A Starbucks.
There was a gift shop behind the front desk. They were selling souvenirs, clothes, drinks and snacks.

Facilities in the hotel
There was an outdoor pool on the first floor (the reception is on the second floor, so it is one floor below). This is the entrance and there was a cute Californian picture. There were also a Hollywood-style objects on the way to the pool.
The pool was relatively big and open and was a good place to enjoy the nice weather of California sun. The pool was lit up at night and it was beautiful. It is open from 8am to 10pm.
There were deck chairs prepared by the pool.
A FedEx office with computers and printers.
A hair salon and a spa.

Hotel surroundings
There were many other hotels around this hotel, and the shopping area was only about a 15 minute walk away from the hotel. There were shuttle buses going to the airport, but there were many people who came by car.

Staff and guests
I checked in late at night, but the staff were very helpful and taught me about the restaurants and shopping hours. When I asked for amenities to be brought up to my room, they were brought up right away.
There were families, elderly couples and many other guests from all over the world staying.

Access
It was 5 minutes if you ride the free shuttle bus from the airport. The bus runs every 15-20 minutes. The driver helped me to load and unload my luggage. There were other hotels around this hotel and not many shops. If you take the shuttle bus to the airport, you can get to the city by bus or by taxi to downtown and the beach in about 30 minutes.

Summary
I had a nice stay at this hotel. The early morning shuttle bus to the airport runs every 15 minutes, and it took about 5 minutes to get there. Above all, I was able to sleep well without being bothered by the sound of cars and airplanes even though it was near the airport. There was Starbucks and restaurant in the lobby which was convenient. You can buy drinks and souvenirs at the big souvenir shop. The room was renewed, spacious and modern with a modern interior, which was very comfortable to stay in. Also, the pool was lovely with Hollywood decorations. There are many other hotels around the airport, but I would love to stay at this Marriott hotel again.
