I chose “Sanwan Residence Taipei,” because it was close to Taipei Station and I liked the photos on the travel reservation site. I could get to the nearest station on foot and there was a park in front of the hotel, so I thought it was a very good place for a morning walk. In addition, this hotel has a bathtub in the room which liked very much. There were many other cheap hotels around, but I decided to stay here.
The hotel is located along Nanjing East Road.
I expected the hotel to be a little more fancy, but it was a little different.
I stepped inside and it had a different atmosphere than the outside. It was very relaxing.
The front desk was gorgeous and elegant.

There were no problems with the room. It was spacious and clean and very relaxing.
There was a TV in the middle of the room, and because it rotates you can watch TV from both the bed and the sofa.
The bed was not too soft and not too hard, so I was able to get a good rest.
The bedside table was convenient, because it had a telephone, a memo set, and a control panel such for the lights.
There was a painting behind the TV.

I was on the 13th floor, so the view was very nice.

The bathroom was next to the bed.
The bathroom was very spacious and easy to spend time in.
The bathtub and shower room were side by side.
The bath was characteristic and it was very relaxing. There was bath salt with a message saying “We hope you can get some rest.”
The shower room was spacious. The water pressure could be adjusted. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were prepared in the shower room, but honestly, I wanted a little more.
Towels were prepared on the shelf next to the shower room.

The sink as spacious and two free bottles of water were prepared.
Amenities were prepared on the sink. Amenities included toothbrushes, hair caps, shavings, combs, body wash towels, and body lotions. There was also a hand soap. Hand soaps and shampoos are made from tea fruits grown in pesticide-free tea, called chatzutang, and have a healing scent.

There was a spacious closet on the left of the bedroom.
I was able to hang all the clothes I brought. There was a comfortable gown. There was also one umbrella which you can use freely.
A safe was prepared under the fax machine.

There was also a capsule-type coffee maker in the room and I was able to enjoy coffee from the morning. There were four capsules. In addition to coffee, tea bags were also prepared.
Drinks were prepared in the fridge.

There was a residence lounge next to the front desk. The sofa was big and relaxing.
You can have snacks and tea for free during your stay.

There are two big parks in front of the hotel, so it’s a great place for those who like to walk in nature. There were people walking their dog and playing musical instruments, and it was a calm place. The hotel is on a big road, but I didn’t mind the sound of cars. There were other hotels in the vicinity, so there were many foreigners. I was able to catch a taxi right away, because it was a main street. It was nice that there were 24 hour shops such as convenience stores and McDonald’s nearby.

The staff responded very kindly and with a smile. He also helped me with an upgrade. I left my luggage at the front desk, but at the time of check-in, they carried it to my room.
Many guests were in their 40s or older. There were not many young guests. It was a very clam.

I got off at Taipei Station and went to Zhongshan Station by MRT from the airport, and we arrived from the airport in about 1 hour 30 minutes. There were quite many people, and there were high-end clothes shops, underwear shops, and restaurants. McDonald’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken are 5 minutes away from the hotel, making it convenient to buy a midnight snack. There was Mitsukoshi just a few minutes away from the station and you and enjoy shopping shopping. Because it is next to Taipei Station, it was easy to go anywhere in Taipei. Other than shopping, there are more meals, cafes, ramen shops, and so on, so it’s a place where you will have no trouble finding a place to eat.

I am glad that I chose this hotel. It was great to have my room upgraded, and it it was a very comfortable hotel. The staff were very friendly. Everything was close to perfection. It was close to the station and the surrounding environment was very good. There were plenty of restaurants, and there was a park in front of the hotel, so it was a nice place to feel refreshed. The room I stayed in this time is more than 30,000 yen per night, so I would recommend it for special occasions. I felt rich and very happy.
