Hotel Surroundings

There was a highway in front of the hotel and a golf club behind it. Behind the hotel was Mission Hills surrounded by mountains and nature. There were many other hotels lined up in the neighborhood. This is an area with reasonable hotels. There were many people who stayed here for sightseeing or for business and they were moving around by car. Now a days, you can order food and have it delivered, so it was convenient not having to leave the hotel to eat.

Staff and Guests

There was always someone standing at the front desk and the staff were very friendly. As for the guests, there were many families staying here. Many of them seemed to be tourists and they were having BBQ and relaxing outside.

Access

It is about 20 minutes to the hotel from the airport. Many hotels were lined up facing the highway and there was a liquor store and other shops near by. It seemed reasonably safe around the hotel. Most people moved around by car, so there were not many people walking around. It was a bit far to walk, but there was a big mall called Fashion Vally Mall at the exit of the nearest highway, which was convenient for shopping.

Summary

Compared to the downtown area there were many restaurants and bars within walking distance, so I couldn’t go out to eat casually and had to plan three meals in advance. Therefore, it was a little bothersome for me who was busy on a business trip and having to move to a place to eat and wait for a delivery order. However, the time I spent in the hotel was comfortable. I had to get off at the elevator and move to another elevator to get to the front desk which was sometimes troublesome, but I have to go on business trip to San Diego often, so when I compare the price to the hotels in the downtown area, it is much more reasonable to stay at this hotel.
