Detailed review & photos “Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Diego Old Town”

The hotel was a brown building that was not very tall, and located just by the road.

The entrance was compact, and cars can only park for a short while.

The front desk was on the left side of the entrance. The front desk was small.

There were drinks prepared next to the lobby.

There was a large lobby in front of the front desk.

There was a cute light in the lobby. During the day the lobby bright with sunlight shining through the windows.

I had to go through the courtyard to get to my room. It is more like a motel style than a hotel.

The windows seen from the outside are of the living room and bedroom’s.

The room was large. When I opened the door, there was a big living room, and a bedroom of the same size on the left. Both rooms had a bathroom. However, the room felt a little old, because the wallpaper was peeled in some areas and the light on the ceiling seemed wobbly. Because it was a room on the first floor, light did not shine in as much, but it was a quiet and relaxing room overall.

There was a sofa and a table in the living room. The sofa becomes a bed as well.

There was a TV across the sofa.

There was storage space under the TV.

The bedroom was on the left side of the living room.

The bed was a little soft, so my husband had trouble sleeping, but it did not bother me at all.

There was a chair and a bedside table with a lamp and an alarm clock on top.

The bathroom was next to the bedroom.

The window is a double window that slides from top to bottom and was able to open it half way. I could see the courtyard from the window. There were lace curtains and blackout curtains, but because people can see inside, I kept the curtains closed at all times.

The bathroom in the living room had a bathtub.

It was kept very clean. Next to the bathtub was a Teatree shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The body soap was a beautiful yellow color.

The toilet had a handrail and a chair next to it. It was made convenient for people in wheelchairs.

The sink at the back of the living room. There was hand soap, body lotion and a makeup remover prepared.

The bathroom in the bedroom only had a shower room.

The shower head was fixed on the wall and there was no problem with water pressure and drainage. There was also Teatree shampoo, conditioner and body soap prepared here. You can sit on a ledge which was very convenient.

There were towels prepared.

The sink in the bedroom was doubled and very spacious.

The closet for the living room was in the bathroom. There was an iron, ironing board, extra comforter and enough hangers prepared inside.

The bedroom closet was also in the bathroom. There were hangers, a laundry bag, a luggage rack and a hair dryer prepared inside. Both closets were very spacious. There was no safe.

There was a cafe corner on the refrigerator placed in the bathroom for the living room. There was a coffee machine, regular coffee, decaf, tea, paper cups and more.

There was a microwave and a fridge. There was nothing inside the fridge.

Hotels guests can have free breakfast here. There were no other restaurant in the hotel.

There was a shop next to the front desk, and there were a variety of snacks, alcohol, frozen food, ice cream and so on being sold.

There was a pool in the courtyard and it was crowded in the evening. There was also a jacuzzi beside the pool, and I saw about 10 people putting their feet inside.

There were toys like floats so small kids can play. There were many families enjoying them selves at the pool after a long day of sightseeing.

The pool was beautiful during sunset, and there were many people drinking wine and beer and relaxing. Because there were trees planted around the pool, it felt like I was staying at a resort hotel.

There was a gym that is open 24 hours a day.

There was a computer space next to the front desk.

There was a laundry room on the second floor.

Th courtyard had many plants and it had a resort feel to it.

It was relaxing to be able to sit at the courtyard.

I saw many families with children, because it is close to Sea World.
