Hotel Surroundings

Yamashita Park is right in front of hotel which would be a nice place to take a walk. Many of the stores in Yokohama Chinatown open from 11:00 which is a little late, so it is best if you check the time in advance. It took about 5 minutes to reach the entrance to the large pier. I also enjoyed the scenery while walking to Bashamichi Station.

Staff and Guests

There were always about four staff standing at the front desk, so I did not have to wait in line. As it was raining all day, I asked for a towels and they brought me some immediately.

Access

The nearest station is Motomachi/Chukagai Station on the Minatomirai Line. It is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. There was a natural lawson in the apartment next to the exit. At night, the paths of the Port Opening Square and the Passport Center are dark. Because it is near the downtown area, there are many people drinking alcohol on the road, so I recommend walking along the national highway, turning around the corner of KAAT and entering from the hotel parking lot.

Summary

I had a nice stay at this hotel. The hotel was old, but some parts had been renovated. The doors to the rooms were nice and the elevator security was reinforced. The room was big and there were cups, glasses, accessories and everything else that was necessary to spend a comfortable time. A disappointing thing was that when I opened the wooden door of the refrigerator in the room, there was extra space where the cords were cluttered. I was also disappointed about how dark the lobby and the room was, but other than that I had a comfortable stay.
