"Hotel Forza Kanazawa" just opened in October, 2019. It is built in a very convenient location which is about a 10-minute walk from JR Kanazawa Station, and within walking distance to sightseeing spots such as "Omicho Market," "Kenroku Garden," "Kanazawa Castle" and the "21st Century Museum." This hotel offers a relaxing space for those visiting Kanazawa.

The exterior was a simple design, but it stood out because it was facing the main street.

There was a roof at the entrance which was convenient when it was raining.

The lobby was small, but modern and stylish. There were sofas here and there that you can sit on while waiting to check-in.

I checked in using an automatic check-in machine. I was able to check in smoothly with the help of the staff.

What is the Deluxe Double Bed Room like?

There was a bathroom and a full length mirror on the right and a closet space on the right.

The “Deluxe Double Bed Room” is 21m² in size, and had plenty of space for one person to stay. There would be plenty of space for two people to stay as well.

The mattress was hard, but I was able to sleep very well without waking up in the middle of the night.

I was surprised to see that there was a foot massage in the room. I was able to massage my tense feet which felt very nice.

There was a blind that blocked sunlight. The room stayed dark until morning.

The room which I stayed in was on the top floor which was the 9th floor, but I could only see the buildings nearby. If you are looking to stay at a hotel with a nice view, the view from this hotel may be a little disappointing.

It was nice that there was a washing area next to the bathtub. There was also a stool and bucket.

I was able to stretch my legs and relax in the bathtub.

There was also a body shower and a hand shower. Both water pressure and water temperature were easy to adjust.

This is the breakfast venue. After 10:30 it becomes a lounge. Between 16:00 and 22:00, you can have wine and Japanese sake.

Hotel Surroundings

The hotel is right at the Musashi intersection and is about a 3-minute walk from Omicho Market. “Kenrokuen” and “Higashichaya District” are also within walking distance. There is a department store opposite the hotel, so you can do some shopping there. It is very convenient because there is a convenience store nearby as well.

Staff and Guests

The staff were very helpful. The staff at the breakfast venue recommended dishes that were popular and I was able to have a pleasant breakfast. There were mostly Asian tourists staying at this hotel. I often saw families, couples and friends staying together.

Access

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from JR Kanazawa Station. It is 5 minutes by bus. Because there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, it is a very ideal location for sightseeing. There is no hotel parking, so if you come by car you will have to park at a nearby coin parking.

Summary

I had a nice stay at this hotel. It is a very convenient hotel to stay at for sightseeing in Kanazawa city. The hotel just opened, so the facilities were very new and clean. I was able to spend a comfortable time in the room as well. I was particularly pleased to be able to choose between an overhead shower, a body shower and a hand shower. Despite the hotel facing the main street, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. It is a hotel suitable for both sightseeing and for business and is perfect to stay at for any occasions.
