Detailed review & photos “UAN Kanazawa”

The hotel did not stand out from the outside, but it was modern and beautiful.

A wooden design at the front of the hotel is a style that is often see in Kanazawa.

The entrance was a small wooden door. It felt like I was going into a hideout.

There was another entrance behind the wooden door. This was an automatic door.

There was a reception at the back left and the staff greeted me very kindly.

This is the lounge where breakfast is also served. Guests can enjoy tea and juice all day.

There was a small tatami mat on the left side of the front desk. This is a space designed in a way that guests will have a nice memory of making traditional crafts.

This space was very beautiful and I was impressed.

Crafts made by artists who collaborated with the hotel were being sold on this shelf.

The room is about 30 square meters and is spacious enough for two people. Because I stayed alone, there was more space than I needed and I could spend a relaxing time. The Superior Twin room seems to be the most popular room at this hotel.

The interior was a Japanese modern Kanazawa-like design. The room was mostly made of wood and was very clean and comfortable.

There were two twin beds prepared in the room. The beds were soft and very comfortable to sleep on. Two pillows were prepared on each bed.

There was a light behind the headboard and I was able to control the brightness.

There was an outlet, USB port, light switch, tissue, and a clock on the bedside table.

There was a bathtub and a wash area. The brown wall was very stylish. The bathroom was very clean.

The shower was a removable hand shower. The water pressure was strong enough and comfortable to use.

Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were prepared in the bathroom.

The bathtub was spacious and I was able to relax with my legs stretched out.

The sink was not big, but it was a fashionable shape. Hand soap was prepared next to it.

Bath towels and hand towels.

Amenities were cotton swabs, cotton, bandaid, folding brushes, razors, tabi socks, and split chopsticks. If you ask the front desk, they will bring you a blanket, mobile charger, iron, thermometer, cool pillow, tableware, nail clippers, reading glasses, wine opener, bottle opener, sewing set, extension cord, multi plug, clothing steamer, curling iron, health meter and desk lamp.

Hair dryer was Dyson’s latest model.

There was no closet, but there were hangers and shelves at the entrance. It was enough space to hang clothes.

There was a cafe corner under the sink. Cups, electric kettle, ice bucket, tea were prepared.

Two free bottles of water were prepared in the fridge.

At the lobby/lounge, they serve sake from 3:00 pm to midnight. They had a selection of local sake, including sake from Ishikawa Prefecture. From 9 pm to 11 pm, soba was also offered for free as a late night snack.

I had breakfast at the lobby/lounge. It was from 7 am to 9:30 am, and you can choose between Japanese and Western breakfast. Reservation is required in advance because they will need to prepare breakfast beforehand.

The gym was a little small, but very clean.
